I still remember my last summer holiday where I visited Washington State with Tom. We went camp in the forest. It was a little of cold but in October the season brought lots of differently colors to the trees. Everything looks just beautiful. Later, we saw the snowy mountains and began to drive at foot of the mountains and finally they arrived in the desert. It was a sunny day and the scenery were beautiful. Last Sunday, my classmate and I went to Mount Tai. It was the first time I have climbed this mountain. But as a local, my classmates not only had been there many times but also knew a lot of this famous mountain. Worked as my guide, she told me many related stories along way. The Xi’an Forest of Stone Tablets, initially set up in the 1087, was official named in the Qing Dynasty. It is an art treasure house where is composed of more than 3,000 stone tablets from the Han Dynasty through the Qing Dynasty. The museum is naming “Forest of Stone Tablets” because the numerous stone tablets housing in the museum look like a dense forest. The museum was a treasure house of ancient Chinese calligraphy as well as a good collection of historical documents and stone carvings in various styles. Moreover, the tablets bear evidences to the cultural exchanges in ancient China and show the great achievements of that period. However, for the visitors to Xi’an, the Forest of Stone Tablets is of great attraction in addition terracotta warriors. We will surely be impressed by its rich culture.

Our class paid a visit the Culture Museum in our city last week. To begin with, we searched for as more information as possible on the Internet. Feeling excitedly, we gathered at the entrance on Friday morning. Then a guide was showed us the exhibition of paper cuts designing for different uses. My father and I stayed at the South Lake Hotel for a week when we visit Beijing last month. It is in the downtown area, but it is easy to go to anywhere from the hotel by public transport. We lived in a comfortably double-room with big bath. What I liked best were the free high-speed Internet connection in the room. I checked my e-mail messages every day. I also shared with my friends many photos taking in Beijing. The food was wonderful with reasonable prices, and they enjoyed several local dish.
It is so a great hotel that I would recommend it to any friend who is going to Beijing.

We will go on a trip to Qufu next week. Located in the southwestern of Shandong, Qufu is famous as the hometown of Confucius. The three most famous cultural sites of the city is the Temple of Confucius, the Cemetery of Confucius or the Kong Family Mansion. Together, these three sites were listing as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994. Our tour group consisted of 6 men and 4 woman. After reaching in Qufu, we will check into a locally hotel. We plan to taste some delicious food of Qufu. It's great to having the opportunity to travel to Qufu. We hope to have good time there.
