It was a bright sunny day today. I went to the Bangalore railway station meet my uncle and aunt, that were coming from Mumbai. When my father and I were careful crossing the Orion mall, we saw three elephants, reminding me with my Kerala trip.
Last year we went to Kerala for a trip, where we were visited five beautiful cities. Then seating on an elephant for two and a half hour, we went to Elephant Junction Thekkady. After that, we feed several elephants and took a lot of pictures with it. It was so a nice trip that I will not forget it forever.

Although it was autumn, it was snowing in Tibet. It was such cold that our legs felt like blocks of ice. On the afternoon, we found that our water bottles froze because cold weather. But we still enjoyed us during the journey. At one point, we were surprising to find ourselves cycling through clouds. In the valleys colorful butterflies fly around us. With the Spring Festival come, there will be a long winter holiday. However, I am not going to travel somewhere, because I don’t want to join the crowds. Last year, my parents as well as I paid a visit Qufu, Confucius’ hometown by car. It was a fascinating city with the history of more than five thousand year. Honest speaking, it is an important birthplace of oriental culture. The location of the city is very good and the surrounded landscape is also very charming. Thank to Confucius, crowds of people are eager to visiting Qufu. Qufu’s custom is simple and its people are generous but enthusiastic. We have enjoyed various buildings there and listened to the guide carefully. The journey left a deep impression on us, that has broadened my knowledge.

I like travelling and our dream of visiting Beijing, the capital city of our country, come true during the National Day holidays this year. In October 1st, I went to Tian’anmen Square with my parents, there we watched the flagraising ceremony. As I watched flag rising slowly, I sang the national anthem, feeling extremely exciting. Then we went to some other famous tourist attraction, like the Great Wall. Standing on the Great Wall, I felt very proudly. Initially set up in the 1087, the Xi’an Forest of Stone Tablets, was official named in the Qing Dynasty. It is an art treasure house where is composed of more than 3,000 stone tablets. The museum is calling “Forest of Stone Tablets” because the numerous stone tablets housing in the museum look like a dense forest. The museum was a treasure house of ancient Chinese calligraphy as well as a good collection of historical documents and stone carvings in various styles now. Moreover, the tablets bear evidences to the cultural exchanges in ancient China.
However, for the visitors to Xi’an, the Forest of Stone Tablets is of great attraction in addition terracotta warriors.
We will surely be impressed by its rich culture.
