Our country is a old country with about five thousand years history. Thus, it has been attracting so many foreign tourist to come here to explore their history. Unlike another countries, China has experienced much dynasties and its culture has spread home and abroad. In terms Chinese characters, it has developed so much that we can hardly grasp every one of them because we are Chinese, let alone foreigners. Last summer vacation, I went to Beijing with my parents to watch the flag-raising ceremony. Early in the morning we got up and headed Tian’anmen Square. It was beyond your imagination that there had been a lot of people gathering there, most of whom were teenager. We did nothing but to wait for the event like others after choosing a appropriate watching position. What eagerly I wished there came the grand and inspired moment soon! Ten minutes later, it was the most exciting time that I have experienced ever since.
From stepping ahead to raising the national flag, the PLA showed dignity or firmness. Seeing the flag flying, we couldn’t help sing the national anthem.

I as well as my family are going to New York City this weekend. I had been looking forward to go there for a long time. It is one of the modern city in the world. How is it going in the UK? I was planning a trip to London with my parents next month.
As the matter of fact, I intend to travel to London so as experience different cultures, which might be helpful for me to broaden my horizons. Last summer holiday, my family visited Mount Tai with a guide. It lied north of Tai’an City in Shandong Province. All the way, the guide introduced us many information about it. She told us that many Chinese emperors in the past climbed to the top for specially purpose. They thought it was symbol of Chinese power giving by nature. Many famous writers, poet and celebrities have been attracted there. We have written thousands of poems and articles about it. Apart from the historical relics (遗物), we had a better view of beautiful scenery. It was a very tiring and interesting day. We learned a lot about it. I went to the Summer Palace on last week. At the gate I happened to meet some American tourists. I greeted him in English and then we began to chat. I got to know that they were college students travel in China. I proud introduced some famous places to them. They were busy taking picture and were impressed with the amazed changes of China in the past few years. After that, we go boating on a lake and had good time. We exchanged our email addresses so that we could write to each other in the future. They thanked me again and again and said they would never forget the time when we spent together. I was very glad to have a chance to practising my oral English.
Last summer, my friend and I went to his hometown in bus to spend the vacation. It was a seaside village, one of the more popular tourist attractions in the area. When we arrived there, I deeply impressed by its beauty. In the morning, we got up early and took a walk on the beach, which a lot of tourists were taking photo. In the afternoon, we often go swimming and played the volleyball with some local kids. In the evening, we always sat on the softly sand, watching waves coming and going. It was quite a relaxed holiday. We enjoyed us very much.
Last week, I paid a visit a newlyopened riverside park, where is located in the southeast of the city. The sky is clear and blue. I took a freely walk in the park,with a gentle wind touch my face. The flowers along the path were impressed me a lot. The beautiful scenery gave me a sense of refresh and life. Along the way, I took such many photos that my cellphone ran out of power in the end. The trip helped us recover from the busy schedule. What amazing the power of nature is! I'm looking forward to one more trip.

When I was in Grade 3, our school organized the interesting trip to a zoo in our city. I was very excited about the trip. Though I couldn’t sleep until late at night, I got to school at 7:00 am, half an hour after the reporting time. When I got on the school bus, there were only a teacher and three students in it. When all the people arrived, the students were divided into several teams leading by our teachers. After traveling on the road for about forty minutes, they arrived at the zoo. The bird watching area wherever there were different kinds of birds was our first stop. Then we also saw many other animals, such as deer, wolf and bears. Finally, it was time for us leave for home.
