Mauer, of Edgar, Wisconsin, grew up on a farm in a family of 10 children. Her dad worked at a job away from the farm, and her mother ran the farm with the kids. Jennifer now is married and has three children of her own. “Surprise!” was the first thing I heard when I opened the door. My family and friends were all smiling at me. I am pretty sure that the teacher did notice that I stopped paying attention to her because a week later we took a test and I failed. What was worse, my mom had to sign the test.

8 . Boston University was always my dream,but when it came to making the decision,I had to be sure that I was confident in my choice.
