During the holiday, I tried a new way to explore the Forbidden City, where left me with deep impression. To avoid waste time buying a ticket on the spot, I made a reservation online. I got my ticket from a machine without difficulty and start the exploration. I was deep attracted by the grand architecture. To my excite, I could scan the QR codes to get detailed informations. With the VR glasses on, I even found me back to the time when the palace was under construction. How impressive! I would like to be a volunteer in my spare time. My reasons were as follows. First of all, it is a virtue to help others. We both need others' help in case of we get into trouble. Secondly, we are able to better ourselves by helping others so we can gain valuable experiences and build up our confidences while serving others. What's more, volunteering makes us feel proud with ourselves, thus make our lives more enjoyable. More important, we can make the world a better place by volunteering to improve it. Half a year has passed since my last year in the senior high school start. I want to tell you how my life has been so far.
Because the coming final exam, I certainly have a tight schedule. In order to keep health, I set aside thirty minute every day to take exercise. This summer, I attended a journalism-themed summer camp, where I learn a lot.
What impressed me most was the interviews carrying out in the street. In the beginning, I wasn’t used to talk to strangers. But with my teammates encouragement, I was able to communicate smooth with them. Then we were noticed most of the answers we got were brief. After a discussion, my teammates and I realized that was why our questions weren’t open-ended enough. So we changed their questions and our interviewees were more willing to share their ideas with us in end.
From this experience I’ve gained several skill for interviewing people as a journalist.

Yesterday, Miss Li told us about that we were going to make an advertisement for our club. She asked us to plan ours advertisement carefully. Many years ago, it was a Sunday morning on my sixth birthday. My father bought me a new bike. I could not wait get on it and learn how to ride, so I begged my father to teach me in the garden.
Before I sat on the new bike, my father helped me put my two hands on the handlebars and my feet on the pedals. Then, he pushed the bike so that the pedals started to move. He was scared! But my father kept encouraging me. I could cycle around the garden shortly after my first try. It was amazed. But unluckily, I was such busy waving at him that I didn’t see a small tree in the front of me. I hit it and fell off the bike. It hurt a lot and I start to cry. My father encouraged me to stand up be brave and try again. Gradually, I was able to ride the bike more skillful.
I kept riding the bike until it was too small for me. It is still one of my most precious possession, for not only was it my first bike, and a symbol of my courage as well as my father’s love.

Today, I bought a cup of coffee for the old lady which was selling fruits and vegetables in the market near our school. At first, she was surprising and had a question mark on her face.
