I went hiking to a mountain with my friend last summer. It was a good trip in the beginning and something unexpected happened halfway. One of my friends suddenly felt a terrible pain in his stomach and he couldn’t move any far. Nobody knew how to deal it. One girl tried to call her mum over her mobile phone, but there is no signal in the mountain area. Lucky we had brought a tent with us. We put it up and let him to rest in it. After taken some pills, he drank some water and ate some food. After a while, I felt much better and we walked on. We all enjoyed ourselves on a top of the mountain.

Hello, everyone! I would like to share my travel experience for you. Last summer, ours school had an exchange programme with an American school, but I took part in it with many classmates. We stay at host families, that gave us an opportunity to learn more about America. The main part of our programme was to experience the school life in the America. Compare with Chinese students, American students were very open and active. Besides, they had less homeworks and fewer exams. During the visit, I made friends with some American students, who were very interesting in Chinese culture. I think the programme is of great benefit to us as well the American students.

As we all know, over seventy percent of our planet are covered by sea, where is rich in salt as well as fish. What’s more, there is a great deal of oil or gas under the sea. In other words, the sea is the place with so many important things we live in. However, with the world population increased rapidly, overfishing has become a serious problem. Every day a lot of rubbishes and waste water are poured into the sea, so the sea is bad polluted. As the result, the number of fish has obviously decreased. Besides, some are dying out or have been died out.
Therefore, it is time for everybody protect the sea.

Last month I went to the island of Lesvos in Greece for a holiday with my wife. Strange enough, even though I went there for a rest, I actually worked harder than I had ever done ago. Instead of spending my days on the beach sunbathing and swimming in the sea, I end up helping the locals deal with the endless arrival of refugees, many of them were struggling to get to the beach after their boats had turned over.
Anyway, this holiday turned out to be one of the most unforgettable experience of my life. When I’m alone these days, I am disturbed by the memories of the faces of parents who could not find out their children and the sound of people screamed for help. What the people of Lesvos did help these people, opening their homes to them and sharing the fewer possessions they themselves owned, was absolutely amazing. It was completely touched by the generosity of the people of Lesvos.

On the afternoon of May 25th, a charity sale held by the Students’ Union on our school playground. In order to keep everything organized, we made fully preparations. Before the sale, from the student we collected various used books and second-hand goods which were still in a good condition. Then we classify them. When the day came, students and teachers both came and took an active part in it. In the end of the activity, we raised 5000 yuan in total. All the money which we raised will be sent to the students from poor families in our school to help finishing their studies. It’s such meaningful an activity that students are all looking forward to the next charity sale.

I would have never imagined myself visit the Great wall, one of the greatest wonder in the world. But a day before yesterday, I got the chance. During the intense route, I felt I couldn't make for it. It was terrible hot and my legs were starting to lack physical strong. I had to take a 5-minute break between the "watch towers". Tired I was, I kept climbing and finally climbing to the peak. Touched by how well-preserved and amazing the walls are, l couldn't help and think about the brave ancient Chinese people who worked nonstop to protect his country's borders.

It was raining light when I got up yesterday. After quick breakfast, I took an umbrella with me and went to school in a hurry. It was fifteen minutes after school began. Years ago, all my parents were involved in a serious car accidents. Uncle Bob took on the role as a father to him. I lived with him during that period. He allowed me stay with him though his home was not really bigger. He showed his care and love for me by pay attention to my health, education and what I needed at that time. I really appreciated the time he spent with me. We used to go on the trips together. We would just spend days either playing our guitars and reading our favorite car magazines. I always felt gratefully towards him. He was like a father figure who will always give me encouragement.
