Last week, I saw a program about Chongqing hotpot on TV. I was curious but planned a special one-day trip there with a friend of me. Our fast train was packing with passengers. A attendant gave us some travel brochures about Chongqing. When we arrived, we went straight a famous restaurant and ordered dishes, which tasted greatly. The atmosphere here made the meal all the more enjoyed. Hotpot is meant for families and friends to sit together, dip everything they like this in one pot, and shared friendship and love.

I used to afraid of insects, but last Friday’s biology class make a big change in me. In that class, Miss Zhao, our biology teacher, showed we insects on stamps. Last Friday my mom decided to color his hair. She studied with all the hair products at the drugstore. The color she choose came in a box which had a picture of a woman that hair color looked just perfect. Mom was sure same color would look great on her. She put the new color on her hair or sat still for 30 minutes, just as the directions saying. However, instead of the brownish red hair she had hoped for, she final got purple hair. Qingming Festival is one of most important traditional festivals in China. It falls on April 4th or 5th, where most Chinese people enjoy a public holiday. I find it interested that many great or success people come from a poor family. This proves that being poor not always a bad thing. In some way, it may be very precious to you, because of difficult situations will make you a person of strong character, upon what you can depend for success. So don’t feel sorry if you were a student from a poor family. Work hard and they will have a great future although other have rich parents.
In a word, it isn’t matter where you come from if you have a positive attitude to life. So, when life gives you 100 reasons to cry, showing life that you have 1, 000 reasons to smile.

Finally, the two foreigners accompanying by me bought satisfactory goods. This unforgettable experience made me to understand where “Practice makes perfect.” means.

I cooked a western-style meal for my parents on their twenty anniversary. I started the meal with seafood soup. After starter, I provided a number of dishes, including a fish course or other lighter courses. Then I cooked them steaks as the main course. My mother wanted her well done while my dad wanted his medium. Next came to the salad course with cabbages, carrot slice and so on. The meal ended with a dessert, what was a cake basically consist of chocolate and eggs. This was the first time I have tried making Western dishes all by myself. I was very proudly to see that they enjoyed the meal.

I was often troubled by lack of confidences. So I applied for a job at an exhibition as an journalist last term. The exhibition was held annually display the latest products in the field of education. At that time, I was responsible for interviewing parents who bought the learning tools. While talking with him, I found it was not so hard as I have thought. One lady even praised me but asked her son to learn from me. I realized the experience was in great value and that nothing was more excited than communicating with people.
From this experience, I am full aware that we should take real action if our personality that needs improving.

My father often took me to his hospital when I was off my school. He showed me how his medical instruments was used. I felt so closely to him. However, after I went to high school, somehow I become distant from him. I was unwilling talk with him and often disobeyed his rule of not stay out with my friends too late. The disagreement was too sharp that neither he nor I knew what to settle it. One day, he talked with me or hoped to mend our relations. With the efforts made by all sides, we began to understand each other better.
