During last year’s Spring Festival, I organized a badminton match for my large family. I came up this idea because we tended to overeating and failed to do enough exercise during this period these years. “My proposal won support from my uncles, aunts, several cousins or especially my grandparents.” When asking by my father why I chose this sport, I said almost everyone could play the badminton. The match, what lasted for the whole afternoon, ends without a winner. But after the match, we were quite “energy and relaxed.” Festivals are occasions for happy, but they can never be achieved without health.

Mary is one of my classmate, who I admire very much. She is cheerful but friendly, keeping smiling at others. That impresses me most is her sweet voice. The sound of her singing is as a waterfall on a mountain, flowed effortlessly and leaving a sense of calm. She is very focused when singing. Much of us usually hear her to sing songs after class. She always active participates in local music contests. So far, she won two prizes in our city. She also teaches us to sing. As a result, influencing by her, more and more students in our class like to sing.

Many senior high school students have children’s book that they no longer need. Therefore, my school organize a book drive, with the purpose of donate books to disadvantaged families with young children last weekend. The activity lasted for a week and students in mine school were encouraged collect gently used children’s books from family members, friends and neighbors. I, along with other volunteers, were responsible for checking the donated books and packing them. In order to perform the task well, I had learned what to pack things from my father in the advance. Though I was tiring at the end of the week, I was happy that I got involved in doing something that is benefit to the community.

It has proved by scientists using hidden cameras that when only one or two people ride in a lift, they usually lean against on the walls. If four people are aboard, they usually moved towards the four corners. So, when the population reaches five and six people, everyone begins to obey more formal rules of lift etiquette. They all turn to face the door. “They get taller and thin,” as a professor describes it. “Hand and purses hang down in front of their bodies. They mustn’t touch each other in any way if the lift is crowded and then only lightly at the shoulder or the upper arm. Also there are a behavior to look upward at the floor indicator. If they speak, it is definitely in the low voice.”

How are you? I’ve been to China for three years since I left my hometown. My friends in England sometimes write to me, ask how soon I will stay here, and when I’m thinking of returning home. The answer to his question is simple. I do not know when I would go back to England. At the moment, I have no reason to return to England because I am like living in China. I do enjoy meeting local person and traveling around country. My work is interesting but there are so many things I don’t know about this land, that I hope to discover in the near future.

When I was a child, I hope to live in the city. I think I would be happy here. Now I am living in a city, but I miss my home in the countrysides. The air is clean or the mountains are green. Unfortunately, on the development of industrialization, the environment has been polluted. Lots of studies have shown that global warming has already become a very seriously problem. The airs we breathe in is getting dirtier and dirtier. Much rare animals are dying out. We must found ways to protect your environment. If we fail to do so, we’ll live to regret it.
