Last Sunday, my father wanted to make breakfast for we. He got all the things prepare in the kitchen. The recipe he chose looked easily, with a picture of a delicious breakfast. He followed the recipe and waited with patient. However, instead of the delicious breakfast he hoped for, it was turned out to be a total mess. He try to fix it. To his disappointment, he didn’t success. As a result, we went to a restaurant but had a delicious meal. There, we all had great time together, creating memories whose would last a lifetime.

Hi, Eric! What to improve your spoken English is really a problem. I use to meet such a problem but now I speak English well. I listen to highly-quality spoken English every day and record my own speech. Play it back, I compare the pronunciation of the speakers with my and correct my wrong pronunciation. Besides, I practice speaking English in public as often as possible, which help me gain confidence and fluency. I hope these suggestions will benefit from you.
However, I have trouble in reading. But I know the meanings of most words, I can’t understand whole sentence because of some set idiom and phrases. Any good advice? I am eager for your help.

Recently, the number of the students in our school who skip breakfast has increased greatly. In my opinion, skip breakfast is a bad habit what should be kicked.
For one thing, breakfast offered us the energy we need for the whole morning. When you are hungry, it is hard of us to keep our mind on our studies. For another, people who skip breakfast will consume more food at noon and in the evening. Hence, the extra calories will stored in our body and make us gain weight easy.
In a short, skipping breakfast leads to poor school performance and poor health, even a bad figure. Moreover, do not skip breakfast and having a proper breakfast every day.

Today, when I walked to home after school, I found the sunset was very beautifully. I stopped at the park and sit on a bench to appreciate the scenery. My neighbor is a generously lady in her early sixties. Since she retired as a English teacher, and she has been delivering meals to senior citizen in town. I enjoy learn English and can remember words easily. However, when it come to reading comprehension, it’s really a challenge. In order improve my reading I tried to read a storybook written in English on last Sunday. At first, I refer to the dictionary every time I came across a new word, which I found not very helpful. I often felt puzzling about what I had read. Then I tried to finish a chapter completely without looking up the new words. How surprised me was that I could understand the story well. I’m satisfied that now I have a good way to learn English than before. I hope I will make great progresses in English in a way.

As a little child, I liked to stay at my grandparents’ home during the summer holiday. That impressed me was helping them with their housework and farm work. Beside, I usually did my homework for only an hour in the evening. I spent most of my time played with the kids in the neighborhood. We go fishing together and explored the nearby forest several time. I also taught them to learn speaking English. We even used English to communicate each other. By the end of the holiday, they could have a simply conversation in English. For this, their parents came to thank me. In a brief, in our childhood, we really felt relaxed and enjoyed us.
