Last year, I ran for our school's senior three grade president. On the day of the election, I had to give a speech in the front of the entire grade but I talked about why I would make a good president. When it was my turns to speak, I stood on the stage with butterflies in my stomach and my hands got sweat. Nervous although I was, I explained the reasons why I dreamed being grade president. I also talked about the ways I plan to accomplish my goals. Unfortunately, I brought their speech to a nice conclusion. The audience gave me a round of applause and chose me to be grade president. Everyone will be full of respect when mentioned a mother’s love. Truly, who can love you more than your dear mother does in world? But in modern society, especial among one-child families, mothers usually give too much love to her only daughter or son. They try to help or even protecting their children in every way, which left their sons or daughters too comfortable to deal with challenges themselves.

It is common that some people can accomplish very tough tasks while other can’t. In reality, no one can always avoid difficulties in life, but the results are quite differently. The difference lay in people’s different attitudes. Some people choose to face hardships bravely. We are determined to reach their destinations how many times they fail. Therefore, it’s just their perseverance which helps them make it in the end. Others may easily give up to whatever obstacle they meet, which can lead to nothing but failure.
In my view, keep on doesn’t necessarily mean success, but giving up absolutely means failures. If we can adopt such positive attitude, we are bound to achieve more than we expect.

New York City police caught a cow in Prospect Park on Tuesday. The confused creatures wandered around the park and the artificial grass field normal used for human sporting events. Gardening is an activity where you have to get your hands dirtily. I try my luck with a spade several times, added a few more plant variety to my garden each year. I know how to do this because of my grandfather, that loved gardening and took the great pride in those peas and carrots grown in his backyard. The entire backyard was devoted his plants. I now had a house and a garden of his own. Last summer my tomato plants gave us a dozen grape-sized tomatoes I often think back to my grandfather garden. Our model of which a garden should be goes back to childhood. My sister and I like to visit Grandmother when we were young. After rushing out of car, we ran to our grandmother’s garden. Sometimes 1 feel that living in a city makes people lonely than before. People always feel strangers cannot trusted. They think this is not normal to start talking to anyone or even smile at anyone.
