New college life is approached. I’m glad to hear that there will be six clubs for me to join in. Among those six clubs, the drawing club is my favorite one, that I’d most like to choose. Yesterday I went to see a film with my best friend Kate. We set off at 1:30 in the afternoon and plan to arrive at the cinema before 2:30 so that we could watch the 3:15 show. In my childhood, my parents sent me to learn Chinese calligraphy. However, things are quite opposite to their expectations. Not only I get bored with hours of practice but also I doubted about the valuable of it. Nevertheless, when I entered high school, write calligraphy proved both essential or beneficial. It was at that time when I realized how important it is to master a certain skill.
Judging from my own experience, I want to say a few word to those children who have a same trouble as I did. Do not refuse to learn a skill when young, as at the long run you will find them helpful.
Last year I went to the seaside to spend my summer holiday with my family. We stay there for about two weeks. The weather was much hot than that in my hometown, and I got used to it. People are suffering from various problems such as lack for resources, poverty, starvation and so on. Great damage has been causing to earth as human beings struggle for more living space.
I am worried the future of our planet. I hope all the country cooperate and take measures to prevent the population from growing too fast. Besides, people should use natural resources more effective. After all, we have the only one earth.

I often quarrel about my father over whether I can watch TV after the school. He holds the view that senior three students have to make fully use of every minute to work hard on their lessons.
