The other day, I was invited my friend Sam’s home for dinner. I felt a bit surprising when I saw Bill there. It was two month since we two had quarreled, so I was embarrassed and didn’t know how to do. I sat down on the sofa but began to watch TV. Later Sam came to ask me to make up with Bill. Until then I realize that Sam had arranged the meeting on purpose. He went up to Bill and greeted him warmly, smiled at him. He looked very happily and talked with me excitedly. That night, we had a great fun together.

During the summer holiday, my parents and I go back to my hometown, which is the small village in the northwest of China. Great changes have been taken place in the past five year. Modern buildings have replaced the old houses made of mud, but all the roads in the village have become wider and clean. What’s more, all the hills that were bare in the past are covered grass and trees now. See the changes, I felt exciting and proud. It is our government’s policy of reform and opening up which has made all these possible.

In the future, the house will built with environmentally-friendly materials. The materials can produce electricity by take in air.
They can also keep the house at a pleasant temperature all year round, that makes the house more comfortably to live in. Besides, if there has an accident happening in the house, the host will receive a alarm call immediately. More importantly, once some natural disasters break off, the house can fly away to avoid it.
Although the house is still a dream, but I believe the dream will come true with the develop of science and technology.
