How an unbelievable scene! A modern young couple were eating fruit in public and had thrown a plenty of waste on the ground. When an old cleaner comes to clean up, the man was very angry. One rainy day while I was walking home with one of my friend, a trunk came to a stop besides us. The driver put the window down and offered us a umbrella because he found we were wet through. I stood there and couldn’t believe in that a complete stranger is so thoughtful. The man insisted, so I grateful accepted the offer, thanked him and watched the truck disappear down the road.
This man might need the umbrella himself, and he preferred to give it to everyone else. It was a lesson to us that it was possible give without expect anything in return.

Nowadays, some students would not like to live in a dormitory. Instead, they rented houses outside the school. There are advantages for them all. I love camping. It is my favourite way to spent the summer vacation. Last year, my families and I went camping in the countryside. It was one of the excited experiences I had never had. I often quarrel about my mother over whether I can watch TV after school. She holds a view that senior three students have to make fully use of every minute to work hard at their lessons. Last weekend we went mountain-climbing. Even the heavy rain in the morning could not prevent us go. Setting off very early, we went along an extreme narrow road, all in high spirits. On every side of the road were green fields and some farm house. We could hear the sound of the rain and our footsteps mixed with laughter. At noon we reached top of the mountain. That surprised us most was the beauty of the scenes here. After having a short rest and sharing with the food we had brought, we started going down. It rained even harder. We are wet to the skin, and we still sang and laughed happily.
