The other day, I discover I couldn't move my right arm and fingers after sleeping through a flight. Having diagnosed me with neural injury, the doctor suggested I could try acupuncture(针灸). So I followed his advices and began my treatment. Dozens tiny needles were inserted across my arm and fingers. I dared not move, because even a small change of position could cause a acute pain. Two weeks went by since I could eat a meal with chopsticks and it took a month for my arm and fingers to return back to their normal functions. I was very amazing at how magic these needles were. That I had always considered old-fashioned and useless turned out to be of great use. I hope acupuncture, with its help I recovered, will continue to bring health to other people.

The Dragon Boat Festival, also called the Double Fifth Festival, is celebrated in the 5th day of the fifth month of the lunar calendar. It is one of the major Chinese festival with a history of over 2,000 years.
The Dragon Boat Festival is in memory of Qu Yuan, an honest minister and poet who committed suicide by drowning him in the Miluo River. There is a number of activities such as eating rice dumplings, throw rice dumplings into the river and so on. People always eat rice dumplings but watch dragon boat races celebrate it. The festival is famous for its dragon-boat races, especial in the southern places which there are many rivers and lakes.

Last week, our community held an activity to call on people to donate items at poor fellow students, which is very meaningful to our students.
As scheduled, I arrived at the city hall at 8 o’clock and start to give away my things what are no longer needed. At first, there weren’t lots of people. Therefore, the crowd started to get bigger and I was offered to help record the items. It was until half past six in the evening that the activity came to a end.
Not only did I do a good deed but also I learned the important of sharing, thus made me more willing to help others.

As we all know, a year consists of four seasons, each of them has its own features. However, my favourite one is summer. The reasons are as followed.
First of all, summer was “hot”. I am not just referring to temperature. People as well become enthusiastic. In summer, people will go to skating, swimming, running, climbing and anything excited. Besides, sceneries in summer is the most appealing, which causes people to go out and feels the vivid life surrounding them.
In my opinions, four seasons make a complete circle of the year, or at least one season is your cup of tea, just as summer is mine.

The news got around that the 2022 Winter Olympics would be hold in China. It struck to me how I learned skating when I was child. At 7, I began to devote myself to skating, like all my friend. At the beginning, it was extremely tough for me to keep my balance. I always fall over on the ground, as a result of it I thought I had no talent for skating. So I gradually lost confidence and became impatient. The more impatient I was, the more terrible I did. I was about to give up while my father came to my assistance. With him encouraged me, I restored confidence and stood up again. As I practiced skate, he always created a relaxing atmosphere and put forward some specific advice. Eventually, I made it.

Aiming at improving our learning efficiency, a theme class meeting was held on last Friday afternoon. During the meeting, we discussed effective but practical learning methods for different subject. Besides, we shared our experience in balance study and life. Through exchanges with classmates, we learn a lot from them and were also inspired by their ideas. More importantly, we gained a deeper understanding of the present situation and realized that we needed to do was to improve our academic performance.
In word, participating in such activities helps us better understand us and our classmates. We are gratefully for the chance to learn from each other. We decide to continue to share our experience and grow together.

Ever since I am little, art has been most important thing in my life. It speaks to me , makes me feel special, but opens my eyes to a world of beyond our reality. I try to explore art by myself. I put my own creatively ideas down on paper as I work hard to improving my skills. Though I may not have been to any art training centers, I’ve been learning from other artist and taking every chance that comes mine way. I have realized this is that I want to do for the rest of my life, and it is this realization that has brought me to work even hard than ever before.
