This summer has been full of unforgettable     1     (moment). Among them, Su Bingtian, a 31-year-old runner, set     2     new Asian record of 9.83 seconds at the Tokyo Olympics semifinals (半决赛) on August 1. Nowadays, school violence is a hot topic, which     3     (call)for our great concern. We should make every effort     4     (prevent) violence happening at school because more and more students would drop out of school if their personal     5     (safe) could not be guaranteed(保证). In fact, violence can be imitated.    6     (actual), children learn violent behavior from adults or from     7     they see on television or on the Internet.

Saving nature is at the very heart of     1     we do as the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). For nearly 60 years, we have made     2     our mission to find solutions that save the wonderful life on our planet by applying the best science available and working     3     (efficient) with local communities.

But   our work is far from done.   Humans are   behind   the present   rate   of species     4     (extinct), which is at least 100-1,000 times     5     (high) than nature intended. We’ve seen an astonishing 60% decrease in the size of populations of mammals, birds, fish, reptiles, and amphibians in just over 40 years, according to the WWF’s Living Planet Report 2018. And the influences will reach far beyond the potential cultural loss of iconic (标志性的) species like tigers, rhinos and whales.
