4 . Today is my last day volunteering at the Sustainable Community Development project in Cambodia. It's time to _________ and say goodbye to everyone I met and this beautiful country. I spent five weeks here and _________ fell in love with the country, the experience, and especially the _________ at school.
In the beginning, I was a bit _________ since I am not a teacher and _________ is not my mother language. There were two teachers and one _________ in every class. The translator, called Vaung, was very _________ and willing to help us to _________ the kids when they did not understand what we were saying. We used to _________ the classes in advance. In fact, all the __________ were very good. The kids were happy and they would understand and appreciate, at all times, that we were doing volunteering work. They looked like they __________ to learn English well.
In the same __________ , the kids had different levels of English. There were kids that would __________ us while others that would just repeat anything we would say. So we had six different classes: in five of them we __________ basic English and in the sixth one we could teach English that was a bit more __________ to kids with a higher level of English. The kids would forget many things they learnt the previous day, so we would need to repeat a lot and be very __________. However, we did get to know them very well. We spent hours playing with them and trying to improve their English skills. From the first day there were always free smiles and hugs on hand!
In short, it has been the best __________ of my life! Before the trip, I did not know what exactly to __________from the program, but it was a complete surprise. I __________ this program to any person that expects to give __________.
