Every time I was got high marks, I would show my test papers to my parents. They would be very happy and proud of me. But last time, I didn’t do perfect in the exam. Last summer, my parents encouraged me help my grandparents harvest rice. Frankly speak, I had never done it before. But guessing it will be fun, I agreed. So I went to one of our grandparents’ rice fields to cut down rice. In the beginning, I was excited, but soon I found the job tired. Besides, my arms were covered with several small painful cuts causing by the rice’s leaves. In the spite of these, I didn’t give up. Together, we spent four days gathering the crops, during that we chatted on fun things and laughed joyful. The experience made a deep impression to me.

Last week, my friend invited me to visit my hometown with her. I asked for my parents’ permission, but they agreed. Leaving home for first time made me very happily. I was like a bird fly in the sky. But when the fourth day comes, I started to miss my parents. Especial when it was night time, the darkness made me to feel lonely. So I went home the next day. The other day our school carry out a survey about how the youth would choose between careers and families. Here is the result.There is around 26 percent of the surveyed students assumed that the youth should focus their attention on careers with the aim of living independently and achieving their goals.Therefore, about a third of the students hold a different view. They think that in spite the importance of one’s enterprise, the company and warm of families are the most crucial things in the world.The rest of the students support the opinion which there should be a properly balance. My mom is a housewife, and for as long I can remember, she has always been with me, never left me for a single day. However, my grandma was seriously ill last week and Mom had to leave for several days to looking after Grandma. It never occurred for me what my daily life would be like without Mom in the house. When she went back home after school, our home was a mess. With Dad always coming home later, I decided it was my turn to give the houses the look it ought to have. Everybody has a best friend, but they can share everything. I also have one calls Bob. He is a good student who helps me learn a lot. Frequent, he helps me with math. Max is one of my good friend. During my last winter holiday, I go to the countryside with my father to visit my grandparents. I found a change there. For the first time I went there, they were living in a small house with dogs, ducks, and another animals. Last winter when I went here again, they had a big house to raise some horse. I won the first place in the English Speech Competition holding in our school last Friday. After sign up for the competition, I turned out to my best friend Anne for help. She is the friend I trust mostly. To my joy, she agreed to help me as soo as she learned about a request. She checked my speech and correct my mistakes. I practised my speech with her several time to improve my pronunciation. She also asked me to call her where I met with dificulties.What’s more, she gave me a lot of encouragement. It was her kind help and encouragement built up my confidence. I’m really full with thanks for all she has done.
