A long time ago, there was a mountain     1    (name) “Chengdu Zaitian” in the vast wilderness. This mountain was home to the Kua Fu tribe,     2    members were all tall and mighty like giants.

Catching sight of the sunrise and sunset, Kua Fu suddenly hit upon an idea    3    he wanted to race against the sun to see who ran faster! The next day, the moment the sun came out, he took a big step and ran towards the sun     4    full speed. The sun, however, was not still, and it    5    (steady) rose from the horizon, reached the highest point and then set to the west. Kua Fu could not stop for    6    instant, and he ran like wind all the way,     7    (struggle) to catch up. Six weeks before his 97^th birthday, Giuseppe Paternò fulfilled the dream of a lifetime: He     1     (get) a university degree.

A few ministers with a sense of justice insisted that it was a deer. Some ministers kept silent because to tell lies would make them feel uneasy and to tell the truth would mean that they would be punished. But the majority of the ministers     8     (immediate) said to the emperor, “This is a really amazing horse.”

After     9     event, Zhao Gao killed all those that refused to support him and punished, by     10     (difference)means, those ministers with a sense of justice. He eventually took control of the court and sped up the downfall of the Qin Dynasty.

Henry dreamed of becoming a writer. In order to realize his dream, he read many books and often practiced     1     (write). He wrote his first story     2     he was ten. Thanks to the help of the passer-by, we were eventually able to catch the train.
