1 . The proverb “Work is worship (热爱,崇拜)” emphasizes the importance of work in our life. It states that doing work must be the real worship of the life of every human being.
Human beings are considered the most important entity (独立存在体) in this universe because we are blessed with brains and intelligence. The brain provides the power to think and understand about different things in the world. We all have some purpose in our lives and doing work helps in achieving the purpose of our lives.
It is very important for all the students to understand the importance of work. This stage is very important in every person’s life. The habit that is developed at this age is continued till death. If the students learn to work in this stage they continue the same in future too. For the students, real worship is not the worshiping of god but doing their studies in a sincere way. They need to do regular studies with proper concentration every day.
The students who are attentive and do their work sincerely are rewarded with good marks while the lazy students who avoid doing their work suffer later in their lives. This is because there is no substitute (代替) for hard work. Hard working students grow up to became good citizens of society and the nation in future. Work teaches the students to be disciplined in their life.
Every day we hear of new inventions and achievements made by the people in the world. It could not be possible if the people would not have done their work sincerely. Our history is shining bright because of the great deeds of some great personalities. This is also because of the people who considered their work as worship and performed it honestly. Such people never ran away from doing work. They would not be able to make their names shine in history without hard work. Thus, it can be stated that every success has a big struggle and dedication behind it. People who worship their work can achieve great heights in their life.
“Work is worship.” is a popular quote to make people understand the importance of work in everyone’s life. The one who understands the importance of the work does it properly without thinking of the fruit. The fruit will surely be sweet if the effort is honest.

It was early morning, yet already it had been a very bad day. One thing after another, the downward spiral (螺旋) continued when a large bottle of orange juice slid from my hands and fell to the floor. Glass and sticky juice splashed to the farthest corners of the kitchen. Shocked, I looked at the mess. Then I dropped heartbrokenly down to the floor, my eyes filling with tears. The tears seemed to show that “today is just not my day.”
Bad day or not, things had to be done. Filled with anxiety and negative mental baggage, I got in my car to drive into town. In the few minutes it took to travel to the bank I made a decision. I would be careful not to pass my bad day off to anyone else. I would be friendly and polite. And I would NOT be angry when that careless driver pulled quickly and rudely in front of me causing me to brake suddenly.
Standing in line at the bank, I was silently talking to myself. Actually, I was scolding myself. All of the events that had accumulated and contributed to my bad day were, in reality, so very minor and trivial. I was over-reacting. I was filled with self-pity. I tried to imagine the innumerable, individual lives that had been affected by terrorist attacks, by war, by hurricanes, earthquakes, and other natural disasters.
For the second time that day my eyes filled with tears as I realized how disconnected I felt from all those individuals who are trying to cope with truly miserable experiences in their lives.
They all seemed so distant and unknowable, and this justified and strengthened my belief that I was being self-centered and selfish. I was sure that all my efforts to be a caring and loving person were in vain.
A voice broke through my mental distractions. Somehow I had mechanically finished my bank transaction (交易) and the teller was trying to get my attention. “Young lady,” she was saying, gently, “Young lady!”

Probably, most of you had the feeling before, at least once—you had been waiting for a long time, yet being afraid of getting. It was exactly my state of mind before the first day at college. I had been working hard to pass the necessary tests and have my application to the undergraduate programme in management approved. And when the time had come for me to visit the college for the first day of the study,I couldn't sleep all night because of being anxious about how to look good physically in front of the whole new world I was about to enter. However, the positive attitude and readiness to accept support from others helped a lot in a new environment.
It was Monday morning. Being too excited to sleep the night before, I came to the college half an hour earlier for the first lecture and was walking nervously through the hallway. About 15 minutes after I came, the hallway started to be full of students. Professors who walked on their business probably didn't pay attention to me. I knew which hall to go to and had already checked that it was open. However,I was hesitant to enter the hall and sit there alone. People were moving around me as if they hadn't seen me. I felt disappointed with the fact that I had nobody to talk to in the new and seemingly unfriendly place.
Suddenly,a well-dressed man who seemed to be in his late twenties approached me. He introduced himself as Mathews and asked whether I was lost and whether he could help me with anything. In that situation,I realized it was very kind of him and that he was exactly the person I wanted to ask in my thoughts a minute before, but then I was too nervous for a friendly chat. As a result, instead of welcoming the opportunity to make the first acquaintance (相识), I told the man to mind his business and leave me alone since I was an adult capable of finding my class without anybody's assistance.

Today us want things better, faster and sometimes cheaper as well. Customer satisfaction is not enough to drive growth alone and isn't the toughest marketing challenge. Companies need to change their old slogan aim for excellence and deliver more a lot more! But the means of doing that is a hard nut.
The other day, the hotel where I had stayed asked me to rate their performance. I completed their form, giving four-star and five-star ratings, as I had been very satisfied with the hotel rooms, the staff and their services. Imagine my shock therefore when I received the following apology email a day or so after submitting my review:
“Thank you for taking the time to complete our online survey regarding your recent stay at our hotel. I would like to apologize for failing to surprise or impress you. Your satisfaction is important to us and we will be using the feedback you provided to make improvements to ensure we offer an outstanding experience in the future. I hope you will consider staying with us again so that we can have another chance to provide you with an excellent experience.”
Shocking mail, isn't it? I believe that is exactly why they get a 4.5 + star rating. For them customer satisfaction is not enough. They have to make guests super satisfied so that a return visit is a “no brainer”; no other hotel choice would make sense!
How do you treat your own customers and consumers? Do you do just enough to satisfy them, or do you consistently look to exceeding their expectations? The above personal example I give is one way that the hotel staff tries to correct whatever is not a “superior experience” and may serve as a lesson.
