My mother is good at making dumplings. So every time I see her making dumplings so skillful, I think it is easy thing. Last week, I decided to learn to make dumplings with her. The first step was to roll the dumpling skins. My mother told me that it was of great important, just like the base of a house. After build the base well, I began to make dumplings directly. It takes my mother only three seconds to finish one dumpling and I spent much time making a dumpling. I had difficulties closing the dumplings well. As a result, the filling for some dumplings I made was came out. We never expected making a dumpling would be so hard.

I like to go running early in the morning before the breakfast. I am very happy when I try running and listen to a book on my iPod at the same time. I get lost on the story and forget that I am running. I always run long than I expected because I like listening to the story so much.
I also listen to a book on my iPod while I was riding the bus to school. I never read a book on the bus because it make me feel sick. So listening to a book on the bus does not make me sickness. I just look out of window and forget all about the people around us.

I had a interesting dream last night. I dreamed that I took part in a race in the sports meeting. At first, I could not to run very fast and fell behind. So I didn’t lose heart and kept running. All the student on the playground cheered me on, “Come on!” I was filling with so much energy that I ran faster and faster until I caught up all the other runners. I felt like a superman. In the end, I got to the finishing line first. I won the race. I felt very proudly of myself. Many of my classmates throw me up into the air. Just at that moment I woke up and found me still lying in bed ! What interesting the dream was!

Only a few days after I arrived in the UK did I realize what changeable the weather was. In Saturday afternoon, my friends and I decided to cook some traditional Chinese food rather than eating out. It was nice and beautiful from beginning when suddenly the clouds gathered above. Then the sun was blocked complete by the thick clouds, following by a heavy rain. But it only rained for about 10 minutes after the sun showed its lovely face again. While they were having dinner, the sun hide behind the clouds once again. It changed from sunshine to light rain for several time in a single day.

One day, my younger brother and I had planned to make a dragon kite. First we found two straight stick of the same long. We tied them with a piece of string on the shape of a cross. Then we tied the four ends of the cross together. After that, we drew a beautifully dragon on a piece of cloth, spread it, glued it around the cross. At last, we stuck a tail making of paper to one of the corners and tied a long string to a center. On the following wind day, we took the kite to a hill near their house and flew it.

I spent an unforgettable time in last weekend. My mother had to go to the hospital to take care of my grandmother who falls ill and received an operation. However, my mother asked me to stay at home and look after my brother, which was only three years old. I had to keep my eyes fixing on him while doing my homework. Then I did all I could please him by singing sweet songs and telling amusing story. Five hours passed by before his mom came back. I breathed a sigh of relief. The meaning of life differ from person to person, but we have different life purposes in each stage of life. For each goal, the important thing is to give you encouragement to get up in the morning and fight against what we want. We had seen people who handle many tough situation with motivation. Although we share same biological structures, which sets us apart from these people is determination. Being determined to achieve something and overcame all difficulties will help us find our purposes in each stage of life. Actually, if we can not find a purpose, we’ll not only bear our suffering, but also see it as a blessing.

It is often the case, a good sleep can fill us with energy for the coming day, allowing us to do our study in a effective way. Meanwhile, stay up too late is bad for our healthy. If we sleep too late, we’ll feel tired the next day but can’t concentrate better.
To have a good sleep habit, we should keep a good sleep pattern and follow them strictly. Beside, it’s highly recommended we go to sleep before 10 pm. If we have trouble fall asleep for a long time, we should consult about a doctor.
