The kitchen was a breakfast stall (摊) at first, and it was run (经营) by a husband and wife, Wan Zuocheng and Xiong Gengxiang. Now they are over 60, but to make it easier for others to use the kitchen, they still get up at 4 a.m. every day to boil water and cook rice.
Wan and Xiong always listen to patients family talking about their experiences because they believe listening to those people helps them feel better.
