Tasty sauces, called salsas, are often added to tacos. These sauces are made from tomatoes, onions, hot peppers and spices.

Winters in Russia are very cold. Maybe that’s why many Russian children eat soup for lunch. Two of their favourites are cabbage soup and beef soup.

Many Russian soups also include potatoes. Potatoes are an important crop in Russia. They make soups thick. Eating thick soups can help keep people warm and can fill them up, so hunger is no problem!

South Korea

Meals in Korea are made up of many dishes. No matter what else is served, there is always rice. Kimchi is also always on the table. Kimchi is pickled（腌制的）meat or vegetables. Korean children mix together many dishes and flavors at meals. It’s common for their food to be hot and spicy.

Thailand

Lunch in Thailand often includes noodles. There are many ways to serve noodles. One popular dish is made with thin rice noodles, tofu and shrimp. Another favourite way to eat rice noodles is with meat, vegetables and thick gravy.

5 . Many people would like to watch sport matches. First, you need to know about audience manners.

Most sporting arenas have rules for audience written on the back of the tickets. Read your ticket carefully before you arrive. Try to reach your seat half an hour before the start of the event and don’t leave when a game is in progress. When you leave, remember to take away your soft drink bottles and other rubbish.

During exciting games, try to control yourself.   Don’t criticize the performance of players and coaches. Be careful with your words. Since some may cause anger among other people in the Audience.

Clapping is a special form of body language you can use to communicate with players, but you should do it properly.   When player find appear, clap your hands together to welcome them, but don’t go on for too long. After an excellent performance, clap warmly. If someone fails, your clapping will help encourage them.

7 . Do you know how to play a game called “Musical Chairs”? It is easy to play the game. Most children enjoy it. You need some benches (板凳), some persons and some ways of making music. You may use a piano or any other musical instruments if you want to play it. You may use a music player, too, such as MP3 player or recorder.

Put the benches in a row. The benches may be put in twos, back to back. A better way is to have the benches in row with each bench facing in the opposite direction (相反的方向) to the bench next to it.

The game is easy. When the music starts, you can walk round the benches. Everyone goes in the same direction. If the music is fast, you should walk quickly. If the music is slow, you should walk slowly.

The person playing music can not see the people in the game. When the music stops, one of you tries to sit in the benches. If you can not find a bench to sit in, you have to drop out (退出). Then, before the music starts again, you must take one bench away. When the music stops again, one more actor will be out.

At last, there will be two players and one bench. When the music stops, if you sit in the bench, you are the winner (获胜者).

8 . There are long rivers, and there are famous rivers. The Nile is the world’s longest and most famous river. It runs 6, 650 kilometers. Crocodiles and hippos live in its waters. Pyramids built by ancient Egyptians rise along its banks.

The main branch of the Nile, the White Nile, starts just above Lake Victoria, the world’s second largest fresh — water lake, in east central Africa. Then it flows to the north. Ancient Egypt, the first great African civilization(文明), started along the banks of the Nile more than 5,000 years ago. Ancient Egypt ruled the Nile Valley for thousands of years. Great pyramids and temples were built on the banks and we can still visit them today.
