Our school sports meeting finally came to end last week. Tiring but cheerful, we made it a success. I can say it’s the best one I have ever been taken part in. I love running. I started running in 2016, look forward to building up my body. Every weekday I stay actively by running on the track with other student. Last week， I got the chance to participate a Chinese Character Dictation Competition held in the auditorium on April 3．
In the following days， I buried myself in prepare for the competition． My classmate all volunteered to help． Some of them dictated to me various characters what they found in the dictionary while others offered to checking my answers． The day finally come． Some characters were so much challenging that many of the competitors got stuck while I was able to write down most of them and won a first prize.
When I was standing excited on the stage， pictures of my classmate helping and encouraging us flashed into my mind． Thank you， my dear friends!

Rope skipping is a sport suitable for people of all age. People skip rope for fun and exercise.
Every student are able to learn to skip. You can skip alone or with your classmates. If you skip alone, you will need short rope about double the length of your high. You should turn the rope slow so that you can skip safely. It might help with if you can sing a rhyme while skips.

During the summer vacation of my first year in high school, I just stay at home all day long, lying in bed and listening to music. Even my father got tiring of seeing me lying in my rooms. One day, I thought I couldn’t live in this way any longer, but I asked my father if he could buy us a basketball and he said yes. He told me that if I really wanted play, I would need to show him. Nowadays fewer students take exercise due to various reason and some students fall ill every now and then because of they are not healthy or strong enough． However， we should take exercise regularly to improve our health．

In our school, a variety of elective course are available. I have taken the table tennis course, and it is an amazed experience. Last weekend, we watched an excited basketball match in our school. It is between Grade 1 and Grade 2 students. During the match, the players from all teams played very hard. Grade 2 was stronger. However, to our surprised, Grade 1 won at last. The player jumped and hugged celebrate their success. Just then, the players from the other team that came near and said “Congratulations!” to them. They worn smiles on their faces and you couldn’t tell from their expressions that they lost the match. We were touching by the scene and felt what important a role sport plays in daily life.
