To raise students awareness of road safety,one traffic police officer was invited to give us a lecture in the school hall the other days.
At first, an officer presented us with some typical cases of traffic accidents, which greatly shock all the students. Then, he analyzed what led to the accidents and stressed the significant of following traffic rules. Finally, to make all the students at present understand the traffic regulations better, he interpreted them in detail.
So valuable the lecture that all our students benefited considerable. We realized what to avoid being injured on the road and that they should attach great importance to obeying traffic rules as well.

When it comes to music, here is what I think: Music is one of the most important part in my life. The beautiful classical music not only helps us deal with stress, but brought me pleasure. I was jogging in a park yesterday while I caught sight of a handbag on a bench. Obviously, someone had left it there careless. I opened the handbag to see what was inside. I found a wallet, some keys and a notebook in it. Luckily, there was a telephone number in notebook. I immediately dial the number and a lady answered the call. On hearing that I said, she told me she would come back at once. Ten minute later, she arrived by taxi. Having been confirmed she was the owner, I gave the handbag back for her. The owner expressed his gratitude to me repeatedly. I felt very delighting.

Although modern paintings had been heavily influenced by the West, they still value traditional painting techniques.

Online shopping is one part of our life for nowadays. There is no doubt that online shopping makes it easy for us select and purchase goods. It is especially convenient for people which are always busy with their work or study. Beside, we can find anything we want at the much lower price. However, many problems appeared along with it. Dear Liu Fang,
Today the weather was wonderful, so I went out to the local park with some friends to fly kites. It seemed that half the city joined in us, so we had trouble find a good place to stand. But I felt so relaxing when we were done.
Over lunch, I was told that kites were invented by a man naming Mozi, who was something of a philosopher and worked hardly to bring peace between warring countries. He also created many clever inventions from wood. I think it is so wonderful that Mozi could invent something would bring relaxation and happiness to such many people. I never thought to yourself that something like kites needed a inventor.

As we know, shared bikes have been made our lives much more convenient. However, we can often see some shared bikes placed messy everywhere. When I talked about this with my classmates last week, we all felt upset but decided to make the change. On Sunday morning, we gather outside the railway station. First, we began dealing shared bikes and tried to put them in order. People who passed by praised that we did. Seeing the bikes in rows again, they felt proud. Then, to encourage people to behave themselves, we put up a larger sign saying “Please Be Civilized While Using A Shared Bike”. Of course, we drew much attention from many passer-by while that also meant our actions would surely make a difference.

My brother and I was driving home but took a wrong turn. Unfortunately, the wrong turn took us towards a bridge. As the result, we had no choice but to turn back, which was really annoyed. At that time, we noticed a black car which driver was a young guy. The guy was standing nearby trying to phone to someone. My brother pulled over immediate, asking if he needed assistances. He said he did because he had a flat tire. So my brother helps him change the tire. He pulled out a $20 bill and tried to give to us. But we refused. My brother said, “I now know how we took a wrong turn. It was to help you.” We all laughed.

I have taken part a voluntary organization recently. It is set up last year to provide left-behind children with birthday gifts. It is hardly for them to receive birthday gifts from their parents why their parents leave home to work in big cities. Besides, we volunteers will make a list of these children’s birthday wishes. After read the list, we try our best to get the gifts they really want. Some kids hope for the pair of new shoes or several books as his birthday gifts. I’d like to these kids to receive the very gifts they wish. I sincere hope each one will have a nice birthday.
