Last week, I paid a visit a newlyopened riverside park, where is located in the southeast of the city. The sky is clear and blue. I took a freely walk in the park,with a gentle wind touch my face. The flowers along the path were impressed me a lot. The beautiful scenery gave me a sense of refresh and life. Along the way, I took such many photos that my cellphone ran out of power in the end. The trip helped us recover from the busy schedule. What amazing the power of nature is! I'm looking forward to one more trip.
An English drama competition would be held in the school art hall next Friday. Any creative ideas which is about school life is warm welcomed. You can also choose to make changes in famous dramas to enter to the competition. If you want to prove you, please sign up by this Thursday afternoon. It is rewarding take your time to prepare for the competition. There is another thing that should be keep in mind. The play should be no long than fifteen minutes on a whole. Don’t hesitate — come, or be a winner!
I’ll never forget the last winter holiday in my hometown. On the way to my grandpa, my father drove very carefully or slowly all the way, for it was snowing heavily. When we arrived, my cousin Maomao grabbed my arm at once, inviting me collect snow with our grandpa. We felt not a little excitedly. After a while, in the yard was some snowmen, all look funny. “Look, here’s another snowman,” shouted Maomao, joyfully clapping his hand. It was our grandpa who grey hair was blowing in the wind. We laughed, which made our grandpa a kind of awkward. How I wish I can go back there this year!
I have had the pleasure of meeting a nice neighbor since my family move to the new community. We usual just wave and say hi when we meet. Therefore, an incident changed this. The other day, a heavier rain hit our area. With strong winds blowing throughout the day, a part of his wooden fence, about 6 foot of it, came down. When I was wondering what to get it repaired, he gave me a hand. With his help, the fence was fixed quickly. It was kind act by my neighbor and I was touching by his kindness. I will soon send to him a thankyou note.

I am glad to hear you are interested on Double 11. Now let me to tell you something about them. Double 11 has become a special day in recently years. With four “ 1s” , it is also called Singles'Day. On that day, single young people held parties to show love or simply have funs. In 2009, Double Eleven Shopping Day was held to promoting online shopping, that has become the biggest online shopping day in China now.
In my view, this day is chance of promoting business. People should make purchases wise. What do you think of this day? I am looking forward to your opinion.

My school ends at 2: 30 pm. Then we can join in a wide range of activity. In my school, there are many clubs for students to take part in. I used to lie on the couch comfortable eating chips and watching TV until I joined the running club. Now, I would rather running hard for an hour every day. It is running which helps me lose weight, which provide great health benefits. Now I’m much more healthier than before. I am advised to keep going and I will be a couch potato again! Besides, either good grades and involvement in afterschool clubs highly valued when we apply for college. Joining clubs is on great significance.

Last month I invited to make a model of the Temple of Heaven for a show. When I was halfway through, my father made it to show me about what it looked like. It looked quite nicely. However, I was not willing to starting over even though I knew my father idea would work better. At a show, most students’ models were much more beautiful than mine. I asked some of them how they make the models that well. They said their parents helped them. My father said I was so close-minded to accept his help. And I wanted to work by myself. Do you think I should have turned to my father?
I love sports. My friends and I often play football in my out-of-class activities. Today I finish my PE test. As a boy I was joined in two parts, the long jump and the 1000m race. I was better at the 1000m race, where took me 5 minutes and 20 seconds. But I didn’t do well at the long jump. I only jumped 4.5 meter. I love sports so much because they can not only make my body stronger, and also let me keep optimistic all the time. While exercised, I can get a strong sense of successful. I can get excited and confident. In word, sports are my favorites.
