It is known to us, a large number of wild animals has been killed for their meat. As result, thousands of animals have either died out and become endangered.
Actually, protect wild animals benefits the animals as well as humans. For example, if farmers killed too many eagles, their corn and grain would be destroyed for rats. The reason is because with no eagles to hunt rats, their number would increase rapid.
Therefore, all of us must do what they can to protect wild animals. As for me, I have joined an organization in our town which aim is to call on people to protect wild animals and I have taken part in several activities.

I am Liu Ying, a high school student. Our school is built 50 years ago. It is very beautifully as you can find many of tall trees, flowers and green grass here. I am very proud of learn in such a school. However, it’s a pity that there is a lot of rubbishes at some corners. I think we can do anything. First, we must know the important of keeping the school clean. Beside, we should spend some time clean up every corner of the school every day. Last Thursday, we have had a class meeting to discuss where to go for our autumn trip. We came up with several choices such as going boating, climbing a mountain, and going to park. Finally, we decided to go mountain climbing. The next day, we left to the mountain early in the morning. While climbing the mountain, we enjoyed the warm sunshine and the beautiful sceneries. I’d love to share with you my personally opinions on city life and life in small towns. I grow up in a small town and then moved to a big city at 18, so I have experienced the good and bad side of both. I never thought that I would enjoy live in a big city, but I was wrong. After ten years of living on one, I can’t imagine ever living in a small town again. Surely small towns and big cities all have some problems in terms of transport. In a small town, you have to own a car make life comfortable. Big cities generally have heavy traffic and expensive parking, but there you have a choice of taking public transport, which is cheap than driving. I can always enjoy a lot of films, concerts, and another wonderful shows. However, these things are not rare in small towns.

Last Saturday, the Environmental Protection Club of our school hold a clean-up project in the People’s Park so as to raise the environmental aware of the public. A number of volunteer gathered at the school gate, but went to the park by bike. Some of them picked up the litter, and some were put the rubbish into the dustbins. Many visitors came to our help, showing considerable appreciation and support. That they did made the park much clean and more attractive. The project was great success and the club decided to organized such activities regularly.

Mother earth is a place that various species can coexist. Unfortunately, wild animals had no place in the 21st century. Some people think that protecting these wild animals are a waste of resources. But an increased number of people come to realize that the disappearance of animals will result from a serious threat to ecosystem. It is hard imagine what our world would be like without animals. After school, I was about to enter into my apartment then I saw a little dirty dog lying beside the dustbin. He looked extremely weak. Immediate the homeless dog filled me with mercy. So I decided to take him home. I gave him some food and bath. After the bath he looked energy and refreshed. What a lovely dog!
When my parents got home, I asked that I could keep the dog. To my surprised and joy, they agreed. Up to now, he has become a member of our family and everyone had enjoyed his company. Looked at the cute and happy dog today, I realize that I was right to help him. We offered him a shelter and he has brought ourselves great happiness and laughter.

My grandparents keep the lovely dog. It will run out to give me a warm welcome wherever I pay a visit to my grandparents. But last weekend I didn't see them when I arrived. I felt very strangely and asked Grandma about it. Learned that it was sick and that it hadn't eaten anything for two days, I hurried to examine it, but sure enough, I saw it lying in its house. I called its name and it only opened its eyes slowly and stared me without moving its body. I begged Grandpa to have it examine by the doctor. It turned out that it had been eaten poisonous food. After some treatment, it looked a lot good on the way home.
