Last week, our community held an activity to call on people to donate items at poor fellow students, which is very meaningful to our students.
As scheduled, I arrived at the city hall at 8 o’clock and start to give away my things what are no longer needed. At first, there weren’t lots of people. Therefore, the crowd started to get bigger and I was offered to help record the items. It was until half past six in the evening that the activity came to a end.
Not only did I do a good deed but also I learned the important of sharing, thus made me more willing to help others.

Winter solstice was a time for families to get together. I’m worried that you’ve been addicted to share pictures in WeChat circle recently. You even share all sorts of photo in your daily life. Of course, WeChat makes better to understand each other and makes our life more colorful, which is very convenient for us to communicate with. However, there exists some potential problems if we overshare. One severe problem is leaking privacy, that may cause economic losses. Besides, oversharing can make others uncomfortably, for they think you are showing off.
Thus, neither should we post our personal information, or should we blindly add strangers to a list of friends. It’s much wise to set aside some time to accompany parents or do something more meaningful, such as reading books or taking exercise.

Last Sunday, our school decided do some voluntary work to help our community. Before a heated discussion, our classmates agreed on picking up rubbish, which did great harm to our community. We arrive early on Sunday morning. Upon arrival, we were divided into six group. Then we began to work separate with our equipment. The amount of rubbish was such discouraging that I almost wanted to give it up, but my teammates encouraged me. Seeing the new look our community took on, we both felt proud. Last summer, I took a part in voluntary work, helping elderly people. I delivered meals to some old people live alone. Nervous and exciting, I knocked on the door of a 90-year-old man on the first day. To my surprise, there is no answer. I kept knocking unless one of his neighbors turned up, saying the old man might have gone outside. Soon the man returned but accepted my meal. My experiences have shown that I can bring joy with old people. Everyone will face the fact when their parents grow older and become dependent on their children. The voluntary works has increased my confidence and I believe I able to help more people.

My family climbed Emei Mountain on last Sunday. It was sunny and we got up early. At 7:30 am, we set out to the top of Emei Mountain. We talked and sang songs excited as we walked along the way. Gradually, I am out of breath and thirsty. What’s worse, I fell down several time, which made me discouraged. However, I kept move forward with my parents encouraging me. Last weekend, our class went to Guangming Nursing Home and do some voluntary work. Upon our arrive, we were warmly welcomed by the elderly people. At first, we presented them to flowers and fruits.
