This year I enter the Great Gorilla Run in London. This is a programme run by The Gorilla Organization to raise money save the world’s last remaining gorillas from die out. Each runner received the gorilla suit and off we went! It was a bit hot and sweat inside the suit, and my legs ached, and it was interesting. The funniest moment was that someone watching the race offered I a banana — a real treat for a running gorilla! I had a great day out of in London, as well as helping to save gorilla!

We were consider making an incredible English magazine, but with hands-on experience we didn’t know how to start it. To get professional instructions, we left for Beijing visit a chief editor of Beijing Review, a famous English journal. Although he was busier, he showed us around, explaining to us the amazed history of the journal and its producing process. Besides, he offered us lots of practical and useful informations. What makes us especially happy was that why he promised to give us continuous guidance. Filling with confidence, we are now beginning to handle my magazine.

High school is considered the most important stage in one’s life. It won’t be long when I graduate. Now I have many things to share my fellows. First of all, I’d like to express my thanks to those who lend me a hand when I was disappointing. It was their kindness which helped me regain my self-confidence when I lost my heart. Beside, I am terribly anxious to clear up some misunderstandings with my friends in order to keeping our friendships forever. The National College Entrance-Examination approaching, I strongly recommend that we could value time and redouble efforts to study so that we can get into an university that we have been dreaming of.

In general, Chinese college students live in college dormitories, for which an accommodation fee is charging. On campus, there are students’ canteens, where food is provided for at a low price. Almost all students live on campus, that is usually very large. There are fair large living quarters besides teaching buildings. However, the college campus, as it were, is a small society.

Today, college students had to pay tuition fees. An annual tuition for public universities varies from several thousand yuan to ten thousand yuan. Student from poor families can apply for subsidies (津贴) to support them studies. Fellowships and scholarships are available to encourage students study hard.

My neighbor is a generously lady in her early sixties. Since she retired as a English teacher, and she has been delivering meals to senior citizen in town. During the COVID-19 outbreak, she wasn’t able to actually get access for their homes. She begun to attach lovely cards with warm messages to those meals. It really brightened up the lives of not only those I delivered the meals to, but also those noticed the meals. Inspired by her, people in my neighborhood are willing to helping each other and more and more people, included me, have started to do voluntary work.

In 2018, I spend my summer vacation alone. I didn’t have too many money, so I could not undertake costly travel. Instead of, I went backpacking. But I didn’t plan carefully when I would stay the night. Beside, it was late for us to figure it out. Then I found an helpful app. As soon as I arrived somewhere, I would have more than one places to stay. At last, I chose stay with a local family. I made friends with whom I met along the way. I know this is not a thoughtful approach. I should say, though, it makes a big different in my life!

There is no doubt that cell phones play a important part in our daily life. However, be addicted to cell phones does a lot of harms to the users. First, staring at a cell phone screen for hours can lead to dry eyes or other eye diseases. Second, if you always overuse your cellphone, your head as well as your neck ache, which will have a bad effect to your daily life. Beside, on your way home or to school, with your attention fully focus on the cell phone, you may fail to notice the traffic around us, which will be a great danger to you. Therefore, I strong suggest that everyone would use our cell phones wisely.

Since I was a kid, I’ve considered different job I would like to do. First, I wanted be a fireman, whose uniform looked so coolly. Then, when I was in the five grade, I wanted to be a teacher because I liked my English teacher too much. When I studied chemistry at high school, I changed my goal or decided to be a doctor. They were two reasons for the decision. One was that I was amazing at the fact that a sick person could feel much more better after seeing a doctor. And the other is that I wanted to help people in need.
