I still remember my thirteen birthday celebration. Instead of the usually parties, my parents decided to spend the whole day with myself. They took me to a larger bookshop first, in which I spent a long time looking through books and magazines there before selecting those I wanted. Then, we went to the cinema. There were many different movies to watch. We finally choose Fantastic 4. My face lit up when I saw the comfortable seats or the huge screen as well. Everyone should take the action to reduce haze (雾霾), which is harmless to our health. First of all, I believe that if we plant more tree, there will be less haze in their city. Trees can absorb exhaust fumes (尾气) from cars, thus reduce pollution. Second, the government should punish the factories where produce too many fumes. Exhaust fumes is the main cause of haze and do greatly harm to people’s health. Maybe we can move factories to areas where few people live. Third, I think it was a great idea to encourage people to use public transportation. Last but not least, we can call on citizens ride bikes if they make short journeys.

Yesterday, I accompanied my little brother to swimming pool. There, he soon got along with a boy possess a water gun and they played with the toy together. When my brother ran excitedly with the water gun, he scratch the boy’s neck by accident. Shallowly as the scratch was, it was clear. I hurried to comfort the boy, but called the boy’s father. I feared he’d blame for my brother and me. Which was quite unexpected was that I just said it was no big deal. Seeing my brother hang his head in shames, the father comforted my brother, which made me quite touching.
Everybody needs have friends in life. But being a friend can sometime be hard work. Learn how to solve problems in friendship can make you a better friend and a happier person. An universal problem between friends is that they don’t know why to talk with each other about difficult things. When they are talking, they often get madly with each other. What can they do? It took time to learn how to communicate well, and it is important to understand why a friend gets angry to you when you say something. To make our life colorful, my classmates and I took part in a picking activity on a farm locating in the suburb of our city on last Sunday.
Upon our arrival, we were all deep attracted by that we saw. Lovely fruits, such as peaches and cherries, hang on the green branch, which made us really excited. As soon as they were divided into small groups, we worked separately. As time passed by, the activity came to end and all of us gained various fresh and tasty fruits. Tired although I was, I found it worthwhile and get close to nature could benefit us a lot.

Last Saturday, the members of the Students’ Union showed exchange students studied in our school around the local History Museum.
The students gathered at the school gate at 8:30 am, and then take a bus to the museum, where they showed great interest in the development of their city. They watched videos about local history and admired the treasure from different periods at the moment they arrived. The exchange students were amazing at the ancient objects displayed and deep impressed by the members’ vivid description.
The visit was great success. Not only did it helped the exchange students learn more about China, and it also helped promote friendship between Chinese students and exchange students.

Last month,I finish reading Romance of the Three Kingdoms writing by Luo Guanzhong. It is a Chinese historical novel based upon the events what happened between the late Eastern Han Dynasty or the Three Kingdoms. h is praised as one of the Four Great Classical Novels of Chinese literature. I’ve learned a lot of from the novel. I really like reading, which can broaden your horizon and make me learn knowledges. A good book is like a wise man, a teacher, a friend and a partner. I do advise chose a good book to read. lf everyone does it regular, the history culture and many other aspects will handed down from generation to generation.
