I first started writing poems in high school, but it were not very good. I just write down words without thinking about their meanings. When I turned nineteen, I was pleasing to go to a poetry class at the university on every day. It helped me focus on that I wanted to achieve through writing. At the same time, my teacher invited me join a poetry club, where we would all recite our poems out and offer different opinion. This not only helped me become more confident in speak in front of audience, and I also gained a better understanding of pace. The biggest thing I learned was to take a deeply breath and not to rush it.

Life without a hobby is like food without salt. I have much hobbies like drawing, gardening and reading, among what my favorite is gardening.
I enjoy tending my plants but watering them every day, which gives me sense of achievement and satisfaction. Additionally, the beauty of flowers makes me relaxing. My hobby is really helpful for my study, especial when I’m tired after doing my schoolworks. It is a great relief for me to seeing beautiful flowers and lovely plants. Last Sunday, our class took a trip to the West Mountain Park. At 8:00 a. m., we gathered on the playground and march in a line towards the park. We were all in highly spirits. We sang and chatted as we climbed along the winding walkway, enjoyed green trees and blossoming flower. It was not until we reached the lawn square at top of the mountain where we had a rest and took photos. An hour later, we picked up after us and returned. Both my legs was heavy on the way back. Our country is a old country with about five thousand years history. Thus, it has been attracting so many foreign tourist to come here to explore their history. Our English teacher, Mr. Wang, is strong man in his thirties, which is often simply dressed. He has been teaching us English since he graduates from the English Department of Beijing Normal University. He devotes all his time and energy to teach, often working later to prepare his lessons. He is capable of making his lessons lively and interested, and all of us like his lessons. He is very strict with us, but he gives us great concerns. He offers us help whenever we need them. We all considers him as our good teacher and close friend. We all respect for and love him.

Good tourist behavior is of great important for everyone. Cultural and natural sights belong to everyone, included the generations to come and good tourist behavior can help protect. Beside, good tourist behavior can make you have a more enjoy travelling experience. However, some tourists threw away rubbish everywhere. Some take photos which it's strictly forbidden. And others even write or draw anything on the tourist attraction.
It's not hard to give up such bad behavior as long as tourists realise it is harm to the sights. So firstly, the mass media have the responsibility of letting people to know what a good tourist is like. Secondly, tour guides should remind tourists local customs during the journey.

Our school library has a program calling English Corner. It is aimed at help pupils develop a basic vocabulary and gain confident in English. The program lasts from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm every Sunday the library. The library now needs more volunteers, which will tell pupils English stories, read them short poems and nursery rhymes(儿歌)and teach him English songs. Besides, under volunteers guidance, pupils will watch English cartoons and learned English through different kinds of game. I’m one of the volunteers.
