4 . When Mandy was in school, a boy called Tim was always very mean to her. He always called Mandy "Sticky". She didn't like it at all. She thought he meant she was ugly and too skinny, like a stick. Mandy always pretended she didn't care, but sometimes she felt so upset that when she went home, she would cry for hours. She didn't understand why he always picked on her.

One day, Mandy decided to tell her teacher about Tim. After her teacher spoke to Tim, Tim called Mandy on the phone later that week. "I just want to apologize for calling you Sticky," said Tim. "I didn't really know that you don’t like it. You have all those sticker not only on your books but also in your locker. I only call you Sticky because you seem organized. If you don't like me calling you that, I will stop. You never said anything about it, so I thought you didn't mind."

Manly was very surprised to hear this. She thanks Tim for apology and sail that she forgave him. Now that she understood why he called her that name, she didn't think it was really bad.

The crowd at the airport moved forward like waves. The passengers had been waiting for a couple of hours for an airline employee to open the door leading to the plane outside. No one was in a good mood. An old man got trapped in the middle of the rush. Suddenly, he fell down, his head hitting the concrete floor, with blood gushing from his forehead. He appeared to be unconscious. Everyone rushed past him, except for Dana. She called for help.

A minute later, a young airline employee showed up. Hardly looking at the old man, she told Dana to get aboard her plane. She said the old man would be okay, and walked away.

Dana screamed for help. An airport supervisor appeared. He told Dana to get on the plane. Dana said that she was not moving until an ambulance arrived. The supervisor said her plane would leave without her. Dana said that she didn’t care.

An ambulance and two doctors finally arrived. The paramedics said that the man would be okay, but he would need stitches（缝线）. They put him into the ambulance and drove off.

On her way out to the plane, which was still refueling, Dana saw the employee who had ignored the old man. The employee said, “You’re lucky the plane didn’t leave without you.”

“The plane?” Dana asked. “Who cares about the plane? How could you be so cold? That was an old man; he could have been your grandfather! How would you like it if everyone just stepped over your grandfather and went on their way?”

Much is unknown about how Covid-19, a new coronavirus, spreads. Current knowledge is largely based on what is known about similar coronaviruses. Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that are common in many different species of animals, including camels, cattle, cats, and bats. Rarely, animal coronaviruses can infect people and then spread between people such as with MERS, SARS, and now with Covid-19.

Most often, spread from person-to-person happens among close contacts (about 6 feet). Person-to-person spread is thought to occur mainly via respiratory droplets (呼吸飞沫) produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes, similar to how influenza and other respiratory pathogens (病原体) spread. These droplets can land in the mouths or noses of people who are nearby or possibly be inhaled into the lungs. It's currently unclear if a person can get Covid-19 by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it and then touching their own mouth, nose, or possibly their eyes.

It's important to note that how easily a virus spreads person-to-person can vary. Some viruses are highly contagious (传染性) (like measles), while other viruses are less so. There is much more to learn about the transmissibility severity, and other features associated with Covid-19.

Cities across China have been rolling out policies to encourage the return of street vendors (摊贩), where stall operators and mobile vendors sell food and small commodities on streets and other public spaces.

At a press conference during China s recently concluded “two sessions,” Chinese Premier Li Keqiang praised the city of Chengdu in west China for creating 100,000 jobs by setting up 36,000 mobile stalls, signaling an encouragement of reviving street vendoring.

Meanwhile, China’s tech giants are offering help. Alibaba’swholesalemarketplace1688.com issued a plan in late May to connect street sellers directly with factories, while offering stall operators with a total of 70 billion yuan of interest-free loans.

E-commerce major JD.com has promised to secure quality merchandise worth over 50 billion yuan and is offering each stall keeper up to 100,000 yuan worth of interest-free loans.
