1 . Love your parents
Even if you think that your parents are mean-spirited at times, loving your parents is a normal and fulfilling (满意的)part of life. You love them for the fact that they created you, raised you, and are in part a source of who you are. Here are some ways to love your parents.
Respect them more and cherish(珍惜)these moments. You can use these moments to learn from them when you're off on your own. It's OK to get angry but angry actions don't help you or your parents. Act calmly, cool off, journal about your feelings, or talk to a friend.
Obey their requests. It will make your attitude better and earn you more respect from them. It may seem like you are going through hell when you don't get what you want or you have to clean. However, you had better remember they keep a roof over your head when it's cold, raining, snowing, or too hot. Understand that parents are human beings and make mistakes.
Keep company with them. Do things with your parents like watching TV, or go somewhere with them.

A son took his old father to a restaurant for a evening dinner. Father being very old and weak, while eaten, dropped food on his shirt and trousers. Others diners watched him in disgust while his son was calm. After he finished eating, his son, who was not at all embarrassing, quietly took him to the wash room, removed the stains, combed his hair. When they come out, the entire restaurant was watching them in dead silent, not able to grasp how someone could embarrass themselves publicly like that. The son settled the bill and started walking in with his father. At that time, an old man among the diners who called out to the son, “Thank you to leaving a lesson for every son and hope for every father.”
5 . Papa, as a son of a dirt-poor farmer, left school early and went to work in a factory, for education was for the rich then. So, the world became his school. With great interest, he read everything he could lay his hands on, listened to the town elders and learned about the world beyond his tiny hometown. “There's so much to learn,” he'd say. “Though we're born stupid, only the stupid remain that way.” He was determined that none of his children would be denied an education.
Thus, Papa insisted that we learn at least one new thing each day. And dinner time seemed perfect for sharing what we had learned. We would talk about the news of the day; no matter how insignificant, it was never taken lightly. Papa would listen carefully and was ready with some comment, always to the point.
Then came the moment—the time to share the day's new learning.
Papa, at the head of the table, would push back his chair and pour a glass of red wine, ready to listen.
“Felice,” he'd say, “tell me what you learned today.” “learned that the population of Nepalis...”
Silence. Papa was thinking about what was said, as if the salvation of the world would depend upon it. “The population of Nepal. Hmm. Well...”he'd say. “Get the map; let's see where Nepal is.” And the whole family went on a search for Nepal.
This same experience was repeated until each family member had a turn. Dinner ended only after we had a clear understanding of at least half a dozen such facts.
As children, we thought very little about these educational wonders. Our family, however, was growing together, sharing experiences and participating in one another’s education. And by looking at us, listening to us, respecting our input, affirming our value; giving us a sense of dignity, Papa was unquestionably our most influential teacher.
Later during my training as a future teacher studied with some of the most famous educators. They were imparting what Papa had known all along the value of continual learning. His technique has served me well all my life. Not a single day has been wasted, though I can never tell when knowing the population, of Nepal might prove useful.

A couple of years ago, when I was in London, I took my friend to a restaurant when there was a chef who was known to be among the best in world. During the meal, I told my friend the history of each dish we eat, the ingrediens used and the way it was used. In the end, she was impresing by the whole experience. A few days late, I was back to Beijing. She gave me a call. She said she went to the restaurant again together with some friend. However, we found nothing specially at all although they ordered the same dishes. “I realized then that the food tasted such delicious because of your stories,” she told me. “They gave to it that magic flavor”.
