In January, the huge snowstorm hit the area where we live. The snow was thick that the highways came to a completely stop. We lived a block away from the highway. With the darkness of night approach, there were several cars with drivers and passenger stuck inside. Mom stood up but said that she would open our house to the people trapped on the highway. We finally let thirteen people to come into our home, what made them rather grateful. I am deeply impressed by my mother’s act of kind. She showed us all the selflessness of helping others.
