Today, I bought a cup of coffee for the old lady which was selling fruits and vegetables in the market near our school. At first, she was surprising and had a question mark on her face. She asked myself, "What is this for?" I replied, "This is appreciation for all your hard works in this cold weather." Then, she had bright smile on her face and was very happy. The look on her face made me proudly. Now, I realize in that every part of the world had a connection. The biggest thing I need to learn is what to connect and I believe that kind is the master key.

I told him I have gone home and would give to him the following day. So in my way to work the next morning I returned the phone back to him. He was so delighted and wanted to give me the reward, and I refused it and told him it was okay. He was very exciting. I also felt gladly for having done a good deed.

Graham Lawrence, aged 29, who is now a science author, giving presentations on TV, was used to be a difficult and unwilling student at Overton School. At first, he didn’t do well at most school subjects because of lacking confidence.
However, everything changed the instant he met Mr. Jenkins, which class always brought curiosity and excitement to students especially with experiments setting up. For example, it’s great funs to use acid and an onion to show how the human stomach works. Those acts of creativity successfully drew Graham’s attention and made him inspiring.
In Graham’s opinion, it is Mr Jenkins whom aroused his interest in science and made a great difference to him to large extent. Without Mr. Jenkins, science won’t be his cup of tea. And of course he wouldn’t achieve so much too.

One of the happier memories in my childhood was made snowmen with my friends. When I was the little boy, I always go out with my friends to make snowmen. Once we played with snow when it snowed heavy. We divided ourselves into several group, two or three people in each group. Then, each group started to make their own snowman. Our group used up buttons as our snowman's eyes and carrots for its nose. Before we finished our snowman, we compared ours with others' decide which group's snowman was the best. But it rarely snowed these years. How I wish I can make snowmen with those friends this winter!

I was very frightened when I woke up in hospital on last Thursday. Then my mum told me what happens. She said I fainted in my PE lesson because low blood sugar levels. Fortunate, I was rushed to hospital immediately. The doctor helped me and I made a fully recovery within two days. My experience has proved how a bad idea it is to try to lose weight by skip meals. Now I know this extreme weight-loss method have serious side effects. I also understand that being healthy and energetic is less important than being slim. From now on, I’ll pay more attentions to my health rather than my weight. Having a balanced diet and exercising regularly really count a lot!

Because of we are young, we are energy to explore the world. However, most of us haven't made it. As result, we fail to achieve that we expect.

My father is knowledgeable, because he can always give me advices and help me make the best decision. Having graduated college, he landed a job in a company, but soon he felt boring to sit in the office all the day. My grandfather suggested he thought carefully what he really wanted. Therefore, my father quit to travel across China, hope to find the answer during the trip. When he arrived at a mountainous village, and he was shocked to find there was a urgent need for teachers. How he saw in local children’s eyes moved them, so he decided to settle down and teach them. Now, he had students all over the country.
Dear Diary,
Here I am in the middle of a city, 350 miles far away from our farmhouse. Do you want to know why we move last week? Dad lost his job, and as Mom explained, “He was lucky to find other one.” His new job meant I had to say goodbye to my classmate, my school, or just everything else I love in the world. To make matters bad, now I have to share a room with my younger sister, Mia. Tomorrow is first day of school. I am awfully tiring, but I know I will never fall sleep.
Good night and remember, you, dear Diary, is my only souvenir from my past life and my only friend.
