One morning, I was waiting at the bus stop, worried about     1     (be) late for school. I have       1     warm story to share with you. A school in San Francisco not only accepted a deaf student, but also       2     (teach) the entire class sign language to allow them to better communicate with him.

The       3     (move) story began in September last year when a woman asked the primary school in her neighborhood       4     (accept) her six－year－old son, James,     5       has a hearing disability. The teacher, Lily, agreed almost immediately, but     6       the first day of school, she noticed James     7     (sit) all by himself, unable to communicate with any of his classmates.

Determined to find a way out, Lily tried developing a few signs of her own. But a parent of another child came up with an even     8     (good) idea—getting the whole class to learn sign language along with James. I was nine years old when I leant to ride a bike. The bike was a birthday present from my uncle. However, before I got on the bike, I felt     2     (extreme) nervous and I was afraid that I would fall off and hurt myself. My uncle held onto the seat and helped me to get on the bike. The man replied, “I found tracks, I followed the tracks, and I got a deer.” They both were     4     (slight) confused because he had no weapons. A few days     5       (late), the second guy went in search     6     food and soon came back with a deer too. The other two asked how he managed     7       (get) the deer. His reply was     8     same as the first man’s. Then it was the turn of the third guy to search for food. He looked at them and relied, “I found tracks, I followed the tracks, and I got hit by a train.”
