I think honesty is a important part of life. Lack of honesty lead to all kinds of problem. For example, if you lie to your friends, you will have to work hard to win back his trust. And if you can't depend them to tell you the truth, then your friendship is unlikely to lasting.
Honesty at work is just as important. A person which doesn't value honesty is a bad partner. Most people work in teams and if you cannot trust a partner, the team would break down.
In a word, it is my belief that honesty in our life is very much important. Without it, our life would become great unpleasant.

4 . How to Deal with People Who Put You Down
It's not a good feeling when someone insults(侮辱)you.
1.Avoid reacting immediately.
When someone puts you down, deal with it by not immediately reacting to him. Getting angry will strengthen his behavior.
2.Understand why the person does it.
3.
The person's words are a reflection of himself, not of you. If he were a happy person,he would not spend so much time putting down other people around him. Also,he most likely does this to other people and not just you. If you let his put-downs get to you, then he wins. Don't allow what he said to make you feel bad about yourself.
4.Ask for support.
You should tell someone and ask for help if the person is putting you down all the time. Tell someone who is an authority figure like a teacher, parent,or supervisor if the person does this to you.
A.Don't take it to heart. |

One day, a young man, whom couldn’t get back home, came into my office to ask for help. He said his mother was disabled. His phone had stolen with his wallet and he hadn’t contacted her for the past two days. Therefore, my job was assessing housing applications, not provide money for travel. I asked him to wait outside unless I finished my work. After work I drove him all the way home. We arrive at his mother’s house at 10:30 p.m. She was in a wheelchair and she answered the door. I saw tears in her eye as she thanked for me. I just hoped that if my son experienced nothing similar, someone would be nicely enough to bring him home to me.

8 . It was the 2015 “super storm” in New South Wales that restored my faith in people.
During a break in the weather, I stupidly decided to drive into town to buy some groceries. However, as I left the supermarket and drove back, the weather took a turn for the worse.
The man, who introduced himself as Trent, then invited me to wait inside his house with his wife, Kayti and their two daughters. I told him I was concerned about the damage to my car, as the continuing rain was starting to turn into hail (冰雹).Trent then grabbed a blanket from his garage and covered my car.
By 11:00 a.m., the electricity and phone services had both gone.
When the hail stopped, I shook Trent’s hand and kissed Kayti goodbye.
As I went out the door, I asked Trent for two of his business cards. My father has since called to offer him a job as a clerk at his company.

9 . Life can bring us down from time to time. At some point, you may find yourself in what you will consider as your darkest hour. As you try to find your way out of that bad situation, you should try to remind yourself that there is always still a reason to be grateful.
If you look at your situation now and compare it with that of someone else who is in much deeper trouble than you,I am sure that you'll find something to be thankful for. We all have our share of problems. But complaining about them only makes us blind to the fact that there are miracles happening around us every day.
When all your needs are met, then you should be content and happy. If you have a roof over your head, some decent(像样的)clothes to wear, enough food on the table,a comfortable place to sleep in,clean water to drink and you are free to make your own choices, then you should be happy and grateful. Many people around the world, especially those who are at war or those in very poor countries would give anything to be in your shoes.
Even if you lose all your possessions and your heart is broken for some reason, as long as you are still alive and energetic, then every material thing you have lost can be regained. If you have a few good friends to support or help you, then be glad because true friends are hard to find. As long as you have someone to love and someone to love you back, then you are a very fortunate person. Remember to be patient and trust that things will get better.
