I was walking my dog around my local streets last Sunday when I meet a new couple. They liked my dog but gave it a sandwich. I thanked them and had a happily chat with them. They said they had just been moved into this community. Unfortunate, they had a troublesome neighbour, that was rather noisy at night, making it hard for them to fall asleep. “Oh,it's great pity. I think I'm quite lucky to have kind neighbours,” I said.
Say our goodbyes, we separated. As my dog and I was near my home, I was embarrassed to see that my new friends were walking towards the house next to me. I was the noisy neighbour!

At present,I am extreme happy because I am doing what I like. As senior three student, I study hard every day and live it to the full. It feels like good to study hard with my determining classmates to fulfill our dreams. When I recalled the happy things that happened to me, the experience of my receiving the scholarship in middle school topped it all. It was a time that my family was going through financial difficulties. So I make up my mind to win the scholarship, hoped to lighten up my parents’ financial burdens. After making tons of painstaking effort, I succeeded. At the ceremony, my mom was the most poorly-dressed woman, and with the brightest smile on her face.

The British are supposed to be famous in laughing at themselves, but even their sense of humor has a limit. When Ratner took over his father’s shops in 1984, he introduced a very clearly company policy, which was great success. By 1991, Ratner’s company had owned 2,400 shops. And later that year, Gerald Ratner made a big mistake. At a big business meeting, he explained the secret of his success — people asked, “How can you sell your goods at such a low price?” He said, “Because of they are absolute rubbish.” His audience burst out laugh. But the British newspapers and the British public were not so amusing. People felt angry and stayed away from Ratner’s shops. Six months after his speech, sales fall sharply. The following year, things got bad and Gerald Ratner was forced to resign. By the end of 1992, he had lost his company and 25,000 of his employee had lost their jobs.
