In order to make children in the mountain villages enjoy a good education, Susan moves to the mountain village when she retires（退休）. She used to be a middle school English teacher. She is a kind person. She loves our education. She cares about the development of the children. She opens a free learning center in the mountain village so that the children have a chance to learn.

In the learning center, Susan is busy all day and she has to get a lot of volunteers（志愿者）to help her. The children have a lot of fun and learn many new things from the volunteers. Susan gets such a strong feeling of happiness every time when she sees the look of joy on the children’s faces.

With the help of Susan and the volunteers, children’s grades are much better than before. And most of them have a dream to go to university（大学）. Can their dreams come true? Of course, they are sure they can.

Most schools have cooking lessons for children between the ages of seven and fourteen in England. It is part of a plan to get children to study more life skills. We want to know what you think.     16    

Emily thinks that the teacher should teach every child how to cook as it is a life skill.     17     It could also help stop being too heavy if they cook instead of getting a takeaway（外卖）.

Catherine says having cooking lessons at school is a good idea.     18     Not only can it teach children to be healthy but it can also show them how to be safe when cooking at home. It can also help children to take care of themselves when they are older.

Ruby says they shouldn’t let little kids make their own meals because they may hurt themselves.     19     Kids from 10 or older should start learning how to cook.

    20     Anna thinks children should learn to cook because they will learn what healthy food is and they could also help their parents in the kitchen.
