Do you like your art lessons? I like mine very much. At my school, Miss Brown teaches art lessons. I have the art lessons on Tuesday and Thursday. There, we use many things to make art, such as paints (涂料) and colored pencils.
Some of my classmates like painting animals, such as dogs, cats, birds, pandas and so on. We all like Eric’s pandas. They are so cute and lovely. Cindy is really good at drawing birds. The birds she draws look beautiful and real.
I really enjoy using clay (黏土) to make a sun. I use a knife to cut the clay into a sun shape (形状). I also draw eyes, a nose and a mouth on the sun. The sun is smiling. I also use clay to make all kinds of flowers with my best friend, Frank. Sometimes we give the flowers to our teachers to show our love.

In America, history is still a required subject at lower levels and students still choose to study it at higher levels. However, there is an ongoing discussion about whether schools should continue to teach History or whether they should spend the money on other subject. This article will deal with the arguments against and in favour of teaching History in school, concluding that we should teach History.
Many of my classmates suggest that History is one of the less interesting school subjects and that governments should spend the time and money on subjects that are more useful. They argue that Maths and English are more important so we can have a society with a good basic education. Others say that we should spend the money on teaching Science, as this can move a country forward and benefit the economy.
Yet, there are a number of reasons why it is a good idea to teach History. Teaching History is important because students should be able to understand the background to present situations in the news. This will create better-informed citizens. Another reason is that it helps pupils to understand their culture and background, which also helps them to understand the society they live in. In addition to learning about the past, History can help students to think for themselves. Finally, it also improves pupils’ reading and writing skills, which can help them become better students.
In conclusion, although there are clear arguments on both sides, it seems to me that teachers should teach children about the past because the value of the subject goes beyond the classroom. I would say that the teaching of History helps to create generations of well-educated and knowledgeable individuals.

Actually I used to be one of them, but after hearing a story told by my father, I changed my mind completely.
Now I would like to share it with all of you.
Once, there was a young man who always thought that the old were just nuisances(麻烦的人)in the busy life and a useless life to fail. He also did this to his father.
One day, the father and the son took a walk in the woods. As they walked, a beautiful garden came into their eyes. The son pointed to one of the prettiest flower and said, “we young people are like this flower, so healthy and full of energy. What about you old people? Just like the falling leaves from a dying tree.” Hearing this, the father smiled but said nothing. They walked on silently. When they passed a grocery(食杂店), the father stopped and went in, he bought a walnut(核桃) and showed it to his son, he said, “we old are like this walnut. We’ve experienced many hard events in life. So we built up such a hard shell(壳), and at the same time we also built up a simple inner world(内心世界). Every fruit is so full-grown(成熟的).”
“But every fruit was born by flower.” said the son. “Yes, but not every flower can bear fruit….” the father replied.
This story has taught me a lot. We should try to be a flower that can bear fruit. We also have to know that our parents aren’t nuisances, useless lives or falling leaves but are experienced walnuts. They are the ones we should appreciate forever.

China isn’t well known for its science fiction films, but recently a new film called The Wandering Earth has become a great success. It has earned over $697 million worldwide. It tells an amazing story of the Earth in danger, along with exciting scenes of spaceships and outer space.
The Wandering Earth is based on a story by Liu Cixin, who is famous for The Three-Body Problem. In the story, the
sun was dying out, people all around the world worked together to move Earth out of the solar system and sail Earth to a new star system. The film began with the early life of a young boy who was born just after the project started. The engineers pushed Earth away and built vast cities under the ground for the rest of the humans to live in. Yet the 2500 years’ journey came with all kinds of dangers. In order to save the humans, a group of young people came out and fought hard for the planet.
China is playing an increasingly important part in the film industry. Its growing middle class has seen the rise of film market across the country, and Chinese viewers have become an important part of film industry. Just as Americans want to get into the Chinese market, Chinese filmmakers are looking for their way to the international market.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Wandering Earth is China’s “first space” film. Chinese science fiction writer, Anna Wu, says science fiction “is a new challenge for the Chinese film industry.” Some Chinese filmmakers have achieved a great success at this kind of film, but most of them still have a long way to go.
Still, Wu notes that within China, “Not all the science fiction films have had success. It still takes time to accept science fictions,” and that with the development of our country, people are “getting busier, wealthier and more stressed,” which creates a perfect environment for this new kind of film and television. The Wandering Earth, she says, is a good example. “I also care about the money it earns, which will affect the future of Chinese science fiction films.”
