What is bullying?
Bullying is when someone makes you feel bad or hurts you again and again. Bullying can happen at school, out of school and online. Bullying includes:
☆ calling people mean(恶意的) names★ laughing at people
★ telling lies about people☆ taking someone's things without permission(允许)
☆ not letting someone play in a group☆ hitting people
What is cyberbullying? Cyberbullying includes:
❉ sharing photos online without permission❉ sending bad messages online
❉ not letting someone be part of an online group❉ spreading lies online
What can you do?
If someone is not kind to you, tell an adult that you know and like. For example, talk to a parent or a teacher.
If you get bad messages, don' t reply. You should save them and give them to your teacher, your family, or the police. Ask an adult for help. Don't share something before you make sure it is true. That will help stop the cyberbullying.
Talk to your parents or teacher or an adult if you see bullying or if you are worried about a friend.
Say sorry if you are not kind to someone. You can write a message or talk to the person. And always remember: think about how to be kind in the future.

4 . It is often said that elderly(年纪较大的) people don't understand youngsters(年轻人) while many believe that children are too young to fully appreciate(欣赏) the wisdom(智慧) of their elders. But in truth, both groups have a lot to learn from each other.
Sister Geraldine Tan runs the St. Joseph's Home for the Aged and Hospice(收容所) in Singapore. It's mainly a facility(机构) for serving the elderly. But not all of its visitors are senior citizens(老年人).
The home also includes a childcare center for about 50 kids between the ages of 2 months and 6 years old. At the center of the home's courtyard(庭院), there is a playground where the elderly can play with the kids. By doing so, they can learn more about each other and get mutual(相互的) respect and understanding.
I think this is quite an interesting idea. For one thing, we live in a world where aging societies are becoming more common. China itself is facing this problem as its population ages. It will be important for young people to be able to understand and care for the elderly in the coming decades(数十年).
Sadly, my own grandparents weren't around when I was little, as they had already passed away. I never got to learn what the world was like through their eyes, or what kinds of challenges they might have faced when they were my age. Their lives will always be a mystery to me.
But I suppose I can still learn from other people of older generations(一代). I might find some of their ideas old-fashioned, and they might believe that my generation's way of thinking is strange or incorrect. But we can still learn from each other anyway.

In a factory building, as the workshop floor moves under the terrible shaking, workers run for safety. Some hide under the machines and survive, but others who try to run outside are killed by the falling ceilings.
These scenes, played by actors and actresses, are from a film of science education, Making a Split Second Decision shown in 2016 on China Central TV in memory of Tangshan Earthquake.
By studying cases(案例)in the earthquake areas and scientific experiments, experts find that buildings remain untouched for the first 12 seconds of an earthquake.
In this short time, one has the best chance of surviving an earthquake by staying near the inside walls, in bedrooms and under beds, experts concluded in the film.“Earthquakes seem to catch the lives of those who run,” said many survivors in the earthquake areas, describing how their friends were killed on the doorways or along the stair steps as they tried to get out of the building.
Their advice was proved in the film, “Taking a hiding place where you are rather than run, unless you are sure you can reach a safe open place in ten seconds.”
