The weather is cold, but people’s hearts are not. Heilongjiang has become     1     popular travel place this winter.

The 25th Harbin Ice and Snow World continues to catch many tourists’ attention. The amusement park covers an area of 810, 000 square meters. Visitors mostly came to enjoy the beauty when it gets dark.     2     can take pleasure in more than 1, 000 works of art, all made of ice and snow. But the Harbin Ice and Snow World is not the only place     3     go. There are many other good choices, too. Tourists can also enjoy having barbecues (烧烤) in Qiqihar and going to hot springs in Daqing. They could even watch the sun rise in Fuyuan, China’s easternmost city.

The Harbin subway is running longer hours to meet people’s needs. Passengers can use free tickets to travel between the stations of the Sun Island     4     the Ice and Snow World. So it’s easier for them to go to the two main events taking place there.

Heilongjiang also wrote a thank-you letter to all the tourists. It thanked them for visiting and taking part in different activities. Even in a cold season like this, the enthusiasm (热情) of tourists can     5     felt all over the country.

7 . The popular saying goes that “Up in the sky there is heaven (天堂), down on earth there are Suzhou and Hangzhou.” Hangzhou has always been a dream place     1     many people to live in or visit. Millions of people visit Hangzhou every year. Luckily, I got a chance to visit the famous city myself last August.

Hangzhou is     2     for its beautiful scenery, such as West Lake. Covering an area totaling 6.5 square kilometers, there are many natural     3     historical places around West Lake.

    4     a breeze (微风) blows over the lake, ripples (涟漪) spread just like plenty of fairies dancing on the water. But soon, they disappear and the lake     5     to peace. Due to its unique charm, many poets in ancient China wrote many poems about West Lake with their words which     6     perfectly chosen.

While aboard a boat on the lake, I could not     7     reminding myself of the story of Su Causeway (苏堤) which was built by our famous poet Su Shi. He     8     it for preventing the flood. The local people named the bridge Su Causeway in     9     of what he did for them.

My trip to Hangzhou opened my mind and gave     10     many unforgettable memories. So if you’ve never visited this city, why not arrange a pleasant trip like me?

About two thousand years ago, the first people went to Hawaii in a very small boat.
