We went to Beijing on     1     today. The weather was     2     and hot. We     3     the Great Wall and the Summer Palace(颐和园). There     4     many people there. I took quite a few     5     of the Great Wall. The guide(导游)there was very     6     to us. She told me     7     about Beijing. The food in Beijing is very     8    . In the evening, I bought something for my parents, but     9     for myself. Because everything was so     10    .

Shanxi is in the north of China. When talking about Shanxi, many people may     1     of it’s coal resources（煤炭资源）. Shanxi is rich in coal resources.     2    , you can look forward to a lot more than that from the place.

First of all, Shanxi is one of the places     3     the longest history in China, so there are many wonderful cultural sites（地点）there. Places, like Jinci, the Ancient City of Pingyao, Yungang Grottoes and Mount Wutai are famous all around the     4    .

5 . I’m in London with my friend Karen. We are staying here for four days. Yesterday was sunny and warm,     1     today it’s windy and a little cold. I’m drinking tea in our hotel room and Karen is out shopping. We’re having a great time in London. There are many interesting places of       2     here. My favorite places are the British Museum and Hyde Park. There are many beautiful old buildings here. We really enjoy     3    .

I took a trip to Shanghai with my mother during the seven-day holiday. It     1     us more than two hours to drive to Shanghai from my home in Haimen. Shanghai is a busy and large city. Its population is over 24     2    . That’s larger     3     the population of many other cities in China.

On the first day, I just     4     in the hotel and rested. On the     5     day my mother and I went to Nanjing Road. It is the busiest street in Shanghai. When we got there, there were lots of people. We walked from one shop to     6    . I bought two T- shirts and two     7     of trousers for the coming summer. The T-shirts and trousers I bought are all white because white is my     8     colour. My mother also bought some clothes. On the third day, my mother took me to Shanghai Disney Resort. It was full of people. I took many photos there. I had a good     9    .

For the other days, I went to some other interesting places, such as the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, the Huangpu River and the Shanghai International Convention Centre. I didn’t forget to     10     my homework in the evening. I had a full and happy holiday.
