文章大意:本文是说明文。文章主要介绍了一种新的运动方式——绿色运动,不同于在使用健身房的健身设施,更强调与大自然的接触,表明其利弊。

1 . Green exercise is a term used to describe any type of physical exercise that takes place in a natural environment, rather than in a health club or gym.    1    Instead, it relies on the use of natural means of taking part in activities that improve strength and endurance with as little reliance on equipment as possible.

2    For example, some consider a truly natural exercise experience requires that the individual wear clothing only made from natural fibres. Others consider barefoot (赤脚的) running or walking would be greener and thus be more desirable than running or walking with shoes.

A slightly different approach to green exercise puts more stress on fresh air, sunshine, and involvement with the natural world, rather than the equipment or clothing.     3    . Similarly, climbing a mountain using standard equipment and protective clothing would also be considered green exercise.

Many consider green exercise helps to reconnect human beings with the natural world. The interaction with nature helps to lower people’s blood pressure, refresh their mind, and actually improve their self-esteem (自尊).     4    Not everyone believes that green exercise is more beneficial than working out in a health club or gym.

5    Meanwhile, the use of fitness devices may result in more challenging workouts, which help strengthen the heart and lungs in ways that more simplistic exercise in a natural setting would be difficult to manage.
A.All forms of green exercise are good for you.
B.A green gym uses as little equipment as possible.
C.Spirits are also believed to be positively affected.
D.Opinions on what truly green exercise means differ.
E.So riding a bicycle in a forest can be called a type of green exercise.
F.Besides, it usually doesn’t use fitness equipment that is normally found in a gym.
G.Some point out that many health clubs are constructed to take advantage of natural light.

文章大意:本文是一篇说明文。文章主要介绍了从良好的饮食习惯、定期的体育锻炼、以及远离酗酒三个方面构建健康的生活方式。

9 . Living a healthy lifestyle contains making choices about the foods we eat as well as exercise and other daily activities. The term “healthy lifestyle” can be defined as “to improve and protect one’s health and well-being”. For this purpose, a healthy lifestyle can include good eating habits, regular physical activity and anti-alcoholism (抗酒精中毒).

First of all, good eating habits are the main way of living a healthy lifestyle. For instance, rushed morning routines, trying to lose weight, and lack of appetite (食欲) early in the morning are all reasons why people skip breakfast (不吃早餐). However, most experts think that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Another example is fast food; a hamburger from McDonald’s with special sauce and cheese is not exactly considered as a healthy meal. Our society today is developing fast and people are on the go at all times. It is much easier to stop and get fast food. As a result, humans become fatter. However, eating low-fat meals that include 5 to 9 serving of fruits and vegetables every day is an ideal healthy life plan. Therefore, good eating habits are the main way of living a healthy lifestyle.

Secondly, another way of living a healthy lifestyle is physical activity. Exercise is indeed part of life because it keeps the body and mind in good shape. Exercise reduces stress and contributes to (有助于) a good sleep. It can keep a person looking and feeling younger throughout his entire life, and it also helps build one’s energy and strength. So, physical activity is another way of living a healthy lifestyle.

Finally, another way is anti-alcoholism. Addiction to alcohol may cause serious social and public problems. It is accepted that driving after drinking is dangerous. Alcohol is a main factor of traffic deaths. Alcoholism can also lead to diseases, such as heart attack or liver trouble. Thus, anti-alcoholism is another way for a healthy lifestyle.

In conclusion, a healthy lifestyle can be maintained in three ways: the first way is good eating habits, the second way is regular physical activity and the final way is anti-alcoholism.

1. When it comes to living a healthy lifestyle, which of the following is not mentioned in the passage?
A.Good eating habits.B.Anti-alcoholism.
C.Physical activity.D.Losing weight.
2. What does the underlined phrase “on the go” mean?
A.Busy.B.Boring.C.Hard.D.Happy.
3. According to the text, how can we feel younger throughout our life?
A.By avoiding fast food.B.By being happy every day.
C.By taking regular exercise.D.By wearing some special clothes.
4. In what column are you most likely to find this text?
A.Life.B.Sports.C.Economy.D.Advertisement.

10 . There are many ways to travel within a city. We can walk, cycle, or take a bus. But no matter which way we travel, we have to stick to the route (线路) the city planners laid down for us.

Parkour practitioners (跑酷爱好者), however, see the city in a completely different way. To them, there are no fixed routes. There are no walls and no stairs — since they jump, climb, roll and crawl to move across, through, over and under anything that they find in their path. The city is their playground.

The International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) has noticed that this activity is drawing more and more people to it — there are 100,000 people taking part in parkour today in the UK alone, according to The Guardian — and how it is helpful for people to be much stronger: It trains coordination (协调性) and balance. So the organization is thinking about recognizing parkour as a new sport and adding it to the Olympics by 2024.

But parkour practitioners themselves don’t seem to be happy with the idea. “They see parkour as a lifestyle,” wrote the website NextSportStar. “It’s a competition against the conditions rather than just a sport.”

“Indeed, many do parkour just to escape the daily routine (常规) and experience the city in different ways,” wrote reporter Oli Mould on The Conversation. They see parkour as a way to express themselves through relaxing moves and creative routes while freeing themselves from the pressure.

It’s great that the FIG wants to develop a new sport and stay close to a new cultural form. But it would be greater if they knew that not everything in life is a competition.

1. How do the parkour practitioners do parkour?
A.They move on as they wish.B.They plan the way in advance
C.They run faster than others.D.They stick to certain routes.
2. Why does the FIG want to add parkour to the Olympics?
A.It’s a special way of life.
B.It draws their attention.
C.It’s good for people to keep healthy.
D.It needs some rules and instructions.
3. What do parkour practitioners think of parkour?
A.It is more formal than other sports.
B.It is a creative way of life.
C.It’s worth adding to the sporting event.
D.It calls on people to work as a team.
4. What is the best title for the passage?
A.A new sports competitionB.Parkour practitioners
C.Training in a different wayD.Making the city their own
