To be honest, I wasn’t the fan of sports before. I used to think playing a sport would distract me from my schoolwork. However, after read an article stressing the benefits of working out, I change my mind. Therefore, I joined the football team of their class this year. My coach and teammates are always ready to help me. Though my skills aren’t good enough for me compete in the real games, but I have learned a lot from the daily practice. During the training, I have been taught to build teamwork and communicate effective with other people, that is helpful when I encounter problem in my life. Now I’m in love for football and I will try more sports.

I do like to do all kinds of sports. But among a various of sports, I definitely have a preference to basketball. As Christmas is coming, I plan to buy something for my parents. What I want to give back is a VIP card for a health club but neither of them is doing enough exercise. My father works hardly as a teacher, spent most of his time at school. My mother loves reading and often bury herself in her books. Therefore, all of them should exercise more from now on. I want to give them this card to express my love and thanks for them. I hope that they will be able to get relaxing in the health club and make more friends here. At the same time, I hope that they can take care their health.
