Last Sunday, my friend, Alun, asked me to help with our group who entertained at the local hospitals. Due to my unfinished homework, I was unwilling to go. But finally I persuaded to help him, which proved the extremely meaningful experience. I went to a local hospital with Alun on that evening. When guiding into the hospital, I was surprised to see so many patients there. Some patients were in wheelchairs, while other were with their arms in bandages. Alun said they suffered seriously pains and were a bit down these days. Besides, our performance lifted their spirits and moved all the people present, each of them cheered for us. Seeing their happy faces, I think joining Alun’s group was worthwhile.

People are always asking me what I want to be when I grew up. My answers are difference from time to time — scientist, professor, political leader — so the theme remains the same. I want to be someone which makes a difference in the world. To be honest, I want change the way people think. Whatever I do it in life, I know there will have some people who disagree with my values. When this happens, I will think about what great people will do in your situation. That’s why I often spend time read books about the life stories of famous people. I do hope I can do as much as possibly for society.

One day when I was on my way to home from school, I found a building on fire. Immediately I called the firefighters.
Several minutes lately, the firefighters arrived and tried their best control the fire. With the help of the firefighters, a lot of peoples left the building safely. We all know that cycling is a greatly exercise. A doctor tells me people who lives the longest are dancers and cyclists. Maybe it is because the combination of fresh air, smooth movement and exercise. Whether you ride a bicycle, you don’t use petrol. So they are not producing carbon dioxide and not cause air pollution. Just see how cars have been taken over our cities. They often run at high speeds, what may put our lives in danger. And there were traffic jams, too. Our cities will be better places if we replace cars with bicycle.

I would like to talk about my favorite sport, running. I only take it up a few months ago thanks to my colleagues whom are professional runners. I spend more than two hours run every afternoon. There are several reasons why I am fond this sport. First, it is the pretty cheap and easy sport to try. All I need is a pair of running shoes. Second, this is a sport that can bring us some new friends. Third, since I started this sport I have hardly caught any more common health issue like fever, flu, or cold. Last year, I was addicted to the Internet. I stayed up late at the night to surf the Internet. My grades at school become worse and worse.
My parents decided to help me. I was asked to cut down on my time spending on the Internet. However, I was able to end my online chats or concentrate on my lessons. So my parents made up their minds to take on my laptop. I was upset and angry, but finally I gave the laptop to them unwilling.
Over time, I realized that my parents had always wanted the better for me. I began to overcome my Internet addiction. Quit was harder than I had expected. So with determination, I did and turned over a new leaf.
