On a bright November day, a graceful English lady walk into a cozy bookshop in the heart of London’s Chinatown. Helen Keller was one of the greatest woman in the 20th century. She was born in 1880 and dies in 1968. When she was 19 months old, she became blind and deaf because a serious illness. From then on she lived in darkness and silent.
When she was seven, her parents found out a teacher, Miss Sullivan, for her. Although Miss Sullivan had trouble teach her, they overcame all the difficulties which they met. Life is full of various experiences, some of them are unforgettable. I still remember the hiking experiences with my classmates for 16 km a year ago. That summer day, we set off early in the morning, think it would be a great fun to walk for so long a distance. However, as the weather is getting hotter and hotter, I found their legs heavier and heavier. What’s worse, my feet began bleeding because long time pressing against the shoes. At one point, I even wanted to give up. But I managed to dragging the rest of the way to the destination. The day, May 16th, is my younger brother’s birthday. This afternoon I went to the shopping center downtown, and buy a present for him. Then I took the subway train to home. Seating on the train, I thought my brother would be very happy when he saw a present. At the next station, an old lady with two heavy bag got on the train and stood in front of me. She looked tiring. I hesitated for a moment, but then offered my seat to him. The old lady thanked me a lot and sat down. Seeing her smile, I felt happily. I will always ready to help others in the future.
