Plogging is a new fitness trend what combines jogging with picking up litter. Since it was creating in Sweden, it has swept across the world. Plogging have many advantages. To begin with, with some bending and arm strength requiring to hold all the garbage while plogging, you will work out very efficiently than just jogging. Secondly, plogging is suitable for all ages. You just need to carry the garbage bag as well as a pair of gloves. Furthermore, there is no doubt that plogging will lead to a cleaner environment and a better world to live. In short, plogging is of benefit to our health or it will bring about great changes to your environment.

In recent years, the sandstorm in the northern part of China has become more and more common natural disaster. The strong wind blows up some sand, making them difficult for people to go out. Sandstorms are caused by a variety of reason. First, in the past people feed a great number of sheep. As a result, the sheep ate so many grass that the land turned into deserts. Second, people were not concerning about protecting forests, and cut down many trees, that caused the loss of soil. When it comes to improve the situation, the government starts to stress at the importance of the environment. I believe final the problem will be solved in the near future.

It was a Sunday afternoon. My parents and I were watching TV excited when suddenly I noticed the pigeon on the balcony. It was a white pigeon with a ring around one of its foot. It rested there quietly, refuse to fly away. Realizing it must have been lost its way back home, I managed call the Pigeon Association up for help. In the same time, my parents brought the pigeon inside and gave it some bird food, what helped refresh it. Before long, the owner got the message but came to take the pigeon back. He thanked us a lot. My parents and I both felt happy for what we had done.

We live in the countryside. Most of which we see is the beauty of nature. One of the exceptions to the beauty is the litter some people throw out their windows as they are driving on the roads. One of the few drawbacks to living in the countryside is that public service, such as litter collection, are little available than they are closer to the city.
A helping habit that my family practise regularly are picking up litter in our surrounding area. We have become so accustomed to do this that my little brother will often say, “There’s some litter. Daddy, stop the car!” and we would often pull over and pick it up. It may seem strange, and we actually enjoy it. We pick up litter in parks, on sidewalks, practically anywhere. Once I even saw a complete stranger picking up litter close to where we live in. He smiled at me and said, “I saw you doing it, and it seemed like the good idea.”

When it comes to the season I like best, spring will always strike to me in no time. There are many reasons that I like spring best. Last Sunday ，I went sightseeings with my friends in the Fair Lake park. The moment when I entered the park,the beautiful flowers and green trees came onto sight. The visitors enjoyed themselves very much that they all took pictures standing under the trees. One evening after work, I found a beautiful little fox with a injured leg. He was like a Disney fox. Then I feed her some fish. A couple of weeks later, the fox was back, much better and had visited ever since. She was comfortable enough to come really close me. She allowed me to take photo of her, the best of whom I posted on social media. Soon after, she took her cubs together to visit to me, which was really unexpected. It's amazing to have this connection with something so wildly in this busy city, but happily the loving fox still keeps turning up.

Dear Editor,
I'm writing to tell you about a shocked incident that happened in Beijing Zoo in the afternoon of Feb 23rd. I was visiting the zoo that afternoon while I heard bears roaring terribly. I hurried to the place where the bears lived at. I saw the black bear badly injured and one of them rolling on the ground painfully. It was hurt too serious to move a foot.
The people around are shocked, angry and blaming the wrongdoer. I learned that was a student from a famous university in Beijing who caused the trouble. He poured sulphuric acid(硫酸) onto the bears, or pretending to feed them.
What an shame! Animals are our friends and something must be done to prevent them from being injured.

To get teenagers better involved in creating an environmental friendly society, an activity was called “I Make a Contribution to Environmental Protection” will be organized at the City Square this Sunday. It will start at 9:00 in the morning or end at 5:00 in the afternoon. Volunteers were expected to gather at the school gate at 8:30 am. Then we will walk together to a square to pick up litter. We will also give instructions to passer-by on how to help protect the environment by start in their own backyard.
