Life without a hobby is like food without salt. I have much hobbies like drawing, gardening and reading, among what my favorite is gardening.
I enjoy tending my plants but watering them every day, which gives me sense of achievement and satisfaction. Additionally, the beauty of flowers makes me relaxing. My hobby is really helpful for my study, especial when I’m tired after doing my schoolworks. It is a great relief for me to seeing beautiful flowers and lovely plants. Yesterday I showed my friend Kate in Baoding city. First, we went to Zhili Governor Office, where is a very famous tourist spot in China. And then we visited the Ancient Lotus Pond Garden, where we had a great fun. Later, I took him to Baoding Botanic Garden. We both attracted by its beautiful scenery at first see. One day in our English class, we asked to make a sentence with a word “eccentric”. I volunteer to do it by saying “My partner, Han Lei, is an eccentric boy.” Heard this, the whole class burst into laugh. After class, I learned about that my mindless words hurt her.

Thank you for your e-mail. I am glad tell you something about our English Club, which is set up by the Student Union last year. Students who are interest in English gather at the school hall in every Saturday afternoon. We usually see English movie, learn to sing English songs but debate on hot topics. Through these activities, we can broaden us horizons and learn about the west culture. Of course, we have a great fun. The English Club benefit us a lot in many ways.
