Last Friday, our school held a activity about forest fire prevention. Over 500 teachers and students take part. First, we watched several short video about how forest fires start, how dangerous they can and what to do to prevent them. Then, each class designed their own blackboard newspaper, shown the dangers of forest fires and measures we should take in our daily life to prevent from forest fires. I can’t remember how many photo I have taken. But one photo that I have kept for many years makes the deepest impression for me. In the photo, an eight-year-old girl dressing in a beautiful red skirt, is holding a book, smiling happy with her mom. It taken at my uncle’s place, where I loved to read both the books or magazines he had. Whenever that I look at this photo, it bring back the warm moment between a girl and her mom. On a sunny morning, Tom’s mom drove him to a farm to let him experience of country life. Tom had never visited a farm before, so he was filled with excitements when finally seeing one. Tony is a middle school student. One night, he met with a car accident, what was due to a driver’s careless driving. Tony’s left leg was serious injured. After that, he got discouraging, thinking it was hard for him to return normal life. To help him make a good recover, his doctor advised him to listening to some music. In the beginning, Tony was refused to follow the suggestion. But his parents kept played soft music for him, putting him in a better mood. And he gradually gains confidence. This morning my American friends Jack and I went to the temple fair holding in our city. When we arrived at the park, we were amazed at that we saw. One day, I tried to take a book from the top shelf in my room. It was such tall that I couldn't reach the book on it. So I took an old chair placing beside a window and stepped on it.
