This morning I went to my favorite restaurant for breakfast as usually. Touched by an elderly couple next to me, so I offered to pay for them. The day before yesterday, I went to pay a visit to my former neighbor. Stan. He and I would live next each other fora few years. Last summer, I went on the study tour in Mount Tai with a group of students. During one of our hikes, I found myself felt weak and struggling to keep up with the others. As I stop to catch my breath, I started to feel discouraging with myself. But soon I realized that not everyone had their own pace and that it was okay for me to take breaks when I needed it. With this new perspective, I continued the hike with a more positive attitude but was able to appreciate those unique qualities that makes me who I am. I realized what it was important to admit my strengths and weaknesses and accept myself who I am.

I went to Djerba, Tunisia last summer. It was truly one of the more attractive destinations I had ever visited. I must admit that I had never seen so a beautiful coastline before. I spent most of me days walking on the beach but enjoying the sun and the peaceful sound of the waves. On my four day there, I took a tour and visit some local attractions, including the EI Ghriba Synagogue. And that was unforgettable experience. Overall, I felt so lucky to be there because of everything was better than I could ever imagine. I’m looking forward to explore more of the beautiful of the country next time.

Many senior high school students have children’s book that they no longer need. Therefore, my school organize a book drive, with the purpose of donate books to disadvantaged families with young children last weekend. The activity lasted for a week and students in mine school were encouraged collect gently used children’s books from family members, friends and neighbors. I, along with other volunteers, were responsible for checking the donated books and packing them. In order to perform the task well, I had learned what to pack things from my father in the advance. Though I was tiring at the end of the week, I was happy that I got involved in doing something that is benefit to the community.

I preferred my English classes to be taught only in English, because it is helpful for us to improve an ability to speak and listen.

I have strong interested in English and foreign culture, so I’d like to be total absorbed in the atmosphere of English. I can quickly make a progress. However, since we are all English beginners, it’s really hard understand the words which is difficult. They need mother language to understand sometime.

So my viewpoint is that we should use Chinese as a minor way to explain something which is difficult for students.
